Abstract:
A hinge mechanism having a vehicle bracket that includes a pawl engagement member extending therefrom. A horizontally-rotating swing arm is rotatably coupled with the vehicle bracket. The hinge mechanism includes a pawl with an engagement portion and an abutment portion. The pawl is connected with the swing arm and operable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. A door bracket is rotatably coupled with the swing arm. A lever actuation member extends from the door bracket and is aligned to engage the abutment portion of the pawl.
Abstract:
A synchronizing device for use with a pair of drawer slide assemblies where each drawer slide assembly has at least a first slide member moveable relative to a second slide member, and includes a first stabilization element configured to be coupled to the second slide member of one of the slide assemblies, and a second stabilization element configured to be coupled to the second slide member of the other slide assembly. A linking element extends transverse to an extension direction of the slide assemblies and synchronizes movements of the first slide members of the slide assemblies.
Abstract:
A vehicle rear door unsequenced articulating mechanism including one or more articulating hinge assemblies having one or more hinge arms pivotally mounted to a vehicle C-pillar at one end thereof via a C-pillar hinge mount and pivotally mounted to a vehicle rear door at another end thereof via a door hinge mount. The hinge arm may include a generally J-shaped profile between the ends thereof for permitting unsequenced articulation of the rear door up to approximately 180° from a rear door closed position. The door hinge mount may include a door stop engageable with a stop surface on the hinge arm for limiting pivotal movement of the vehicle rear door.
Abstract:
A panel movement system including top and bottom rails having racks with registration teeth along their lengths; top and bottom rail attachments movably attached to respective ones of the rails for lateral movement along lengths of the rails; and a gear movement synchronization system. Each rail attachment includes a rotatable gear engaging the registration teeth on respective ones of the rails. The gear movement synchronization system connects the rotatable gear of the top rail attachment to the rotatable gear of the bottom rail attachment such that the top and bottom rail attachments move along the rails in unison. The top and bottom rail attachments are adapted to have a panel connected therebetween.
Abstract:
Presented herein is a novel sliding door system that that enables adjustment of at least two sliding doors relative to each other such that surfaces of the sliding doors create a substantially flush surface a support onto which the sliding door mechanism is mounted. The system includes at least one inner and outer sliding door slidably coupled to corresponding guide rails. The guide rail that is coupled to the outer sliding door is selectably moveable by a sliding door mechanism between a first and a second position. In the first position, a user can slide outer and inner sliding doors along said guide rails, whereas in the second position, a surface of the outer sliding door is substantially flush with a surface of said inner sliding door.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a cupboard-shaped piece of furniture (1) with side walls (2), on each of which a control mechanism (4) for the displacement of a door leaf (7) is arranged, whereby the control mechanisms (4) are connected by means of a synchronisation rod (10) for the synchronised movement thereof. The synchronisation rod (10) comprises a fixing device (12) on at least one end region for the detachable connection of the synchronisation rod (10) to a rotating piece (17) of the control mechanism (4), characterised in that the fixing device (12) is embodied such that the synchronisation rod (10) may also be connected to the rotating piece (17) when the rotating piece (17) is already pre-assembled on a side wall (2) of the piece of furniture (1).
Abstract:
A hinge bracket attachable to a pocket door slide system wherein the pocket door slide system comprises components capable of achieving a full inset or partial overlay pocket door position without the hinge bracket, and wherein use of the hinge bracket enables the pocket door slide system to achieve a substantially full overlay pocket door position.

Abstract:
A support mechanism supports a hood in a raised position with respect to a vehicle to which the hood is pivotally coupled. The mechanism includes two pairs of arm members which are pivotally coupled to each other by a central pivot pin, and which are coupled between the vehicle and the vehicle hood. A flat coil spring is coiled around the central pivot pin and is attached to the arm members. The spring is biased to pivot one pair of arms and in turn the hood upwardly.
Abstract:
A roll screen cassette for installation in a closure assembly having a frame for moveably retaining a closure member, the frame including a header, sill, and vertical jamb sections, at least one of the sections including a pocket formed within the interior thereof, the pocket having a first predetermined configuration defined by the interior of the section and for receipt of the roll screen, the roll screen comprising a pair of brackets from which the roll screen is pivotally supported, the pair of brackets having a second predetermined configuration compatible with the pocket of the frame section having the first predetermined configuration, the pair of brackets utilized for removeably retaining the roll screen within the pocket in use, the pair of brackets and roll screen being removeably held in position with respect to said frame only by the pocket having the first predetermined configuration and the pair of brackets having a second predetermined configuration compatible with the pocket and being located in the pocket in use, wherein the compatible shapes of the pair of brackets and the pocket when installed in the frame section cooperate to prevent the pair of brackets from rotating with respect to the pocket and the frame when the roll screen is let out or taken in use.
