Abstract: Sleeve part of a pipe joint wherein the sleeve part includes a chamber space, into which the opposing butt ends of the pipe parts to be connected together are placed such that the sleeve part extends a distance from the point of connection of the pipe parts to be connected together on top of both pipe parts. The sleeve part includes heating member, such as resistance wires. As a consequence of the heating of the resistance wires a joint forms between the sleeve part and the pipe parts. An inspection aperture is formed in the sleeve part through the wall of the sleeve part from the exterior to the interior to a point where the positioning of the opposing butt end surfaces of the pipe parts to be connected together can be verified. The invention also relates to a pipe joint.

Abstract: A retainer is equipped with a regulation segment, which regulates the position of an O-ring placed in an insertion hole, and a prevention segment, which engages with a spool of a pipe and prevents the pipe from being removed from the insertion hole. Moreover, by moving the retainer toward the minus side in the Y direction and attaching it to an attachment segment, the retainer becomes sandwiched between an opposing wall portion and a tube segment in the X direction. Because of this, the number of parts can be reduced and the retainer that regulates the position of the O-ring can be prevented from being moved in the X direction by the pressure of fluid flowing inside the pipe connector in the X direction.

Abstract: Push-fit pipe coupling assembly includes a demount tool and a pipe coupling. Each demount tool is in the form of a part ring having an internal thread and a pressing portion. Each coupling includes a body having an exterior thread and a demount collar. In use, the thread of demount tool engages with the exterior thread. As the demount tool moves, an abutting shoulder of the pressing portion comes into contact with the engaging portion of demount collar. This forces an angled contact surface to press on the teeth of a grab ring, preventing the teeth from engaging with a pipe inserted into the coupling, allowing the relative position of pipe and coupling to be adjusted.

Abstract: A pipe fitting and method therefor includes one or more indicators to provide a visual indication that the fitting has been properly pressed around a tube and that the correct amount of pressure has been provided to create a permanent seal. Abstract: A quick connector coupling assembly includes a retainer to connect a rigid tube to a hollow body component. Abstract: A flow adjusting apparatus adjusts the flow rate of a fluid flowing in a plurality of tubes. The flow adjusting apparatus includes a tube coupling joint having a joint body and a plurality of engaging lugs.
