Abstract:
A method for selecting paints is disclosed. This method includes the steps of selecting true paint colors, displaying device-dependent colors corresponding to the true paint colors in a simulated full size room and interacting with the buyers to change the displayed colors and select the desired colors. The method also includes the step of dispensing paints corresponding to the selected colors. The displayed colors are generated by multiple color and/or white LEDs to provide a wider gamut of displayable colors and more color saturation and chromatic. A full-size apparatus for displaying paint colors using device-dependent colors is also disclosed.

The present invention comprehensively acquires a make-up color image and provides a make-up color image classification method and make-up color image map that enables make-up to be applied effectively. A color image index indicating warm/cool and a color image index indicating light/heavy are formed as two coordinate axes and the colors located therealong, the make-up color image is classified and a make-up color image map produced, making it possible to achieve a make-up color image accurately and easily.

The invention may simulate application of selected beauty products and recommended products on a facial image. After a user inputs information, an artificial intelligence engine may recommend a product complementary to the user-selected product. Both the user-selected product and/or the recommended product may be displayed on the facial image.

The personal colors for facial cosmetics are determined by a method and a kit of equipment which determines an overall value for the individual by reference to skin, eye and hair features, determines a hue of the individual by reference to colors such as facial powders applied to the skin, and presents the personal colors based on the overall value and hue determined. A value determining scale is used to determine specific values of features by adjacent comparison to those features. An overall value chart contains information defining an overall value based on a predetermined multiple number of specific values of features. A personal color direction chart correlates values and hues to the desired personal colors.

A transmission type color gradation chart comprising: a color chart member including at least one color bar wherein transmitted light exhibits chromatic color; and a gray gradation chart member wherein transmitted light exhibits achromatic color, and includes a plurality of transmission regions with different brightness, wherein the color chart member and the gray gradation chart member are stacked so that there is a duplicative transmission region wherein the color bar and the plurality of transmission regions overlap in planar view.

The system includes a viewing device for showing a subject or an object for which the color is chosen, a color palette from which the subject can choose a color, and a link to a production center for creating the product according to the choice of the subject. The system also includes a color-modifying device for modifying the color chosen by the subject.
