Abstract: A method includes: acquiring user characteristic data of a first user and user characteristic data of at least two second users, each of the at least two second users having a social relationship with the first user; clustering the at least two second users to obtain at least two user sets, a similarity between the user characteristic data of any two second users in each user set satisfying a similarity condition; determining first key user characteristic data corresponding to the each user set according to the user characteristic data of the second users in the each user set; and generating a user profile of the first user according to the first key user characteristic data corresponding to the each user set and the user characteristic data of the first user.

Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for tracking user activity with products in an environment. In an embodiment, a processor detects that a user has entered an environment, and responsively uniquely identifies the user. The processor determines that the user interacts with a product of a plurality of products within the environment, and responsively updates a profile of the user with indicia of the product. The processor determines whether the user is attempting to exit the environment, and, in response to determining that the user is attempting to exit the environment, prompts the user to confirm that the user intends to remove the product from the environment based on the updated profile. The processor receives input from the user confirming that the user intends to remove the product from the environment, and responsively further updates the profile based on the input.

An example system includes programmable circuitry to log, at a first Internet domain, a first record for a first website visit by a first client device to a website at a second Internet domain, the first record based on a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) request, the first record to include a timestamp, a uniform resource locator (URL), and a user identifier, the timestamp to represent a time of the first website visit, the URL corresponding to the website at the second Internet domain, and weight impression data in a report, the impression data associated with the first record and with second records, the second records corresponding to second website visits to the website via second client devices, the weighting of the impression data based on demographic distributions of audience members corresponding to the first and second records.

Abstract: A system and methods for a universal integration framework for data analytics pipelines are disclosed. According to one embodiment, a computer-implemented method maintains internal consumer data that has a consumer ID associated with a consumer based on events at a partner platform. The platform server determines target characteristics based on instructions provided by a client or the internal consumer data and generates a target consumer group associated with an internal project ID based on the target characteristics, wherein the target consumer group includes the consumer ID and internal consumer data associated with each consumer. The platform server transmits the target consumer group to the partner platform and receives partner event data indicative of updates to consumer data. The platform server generates an updated target consumer group based on the updated consumer data and transmits updates to the partner platform to improve consumer interest.

Abstract: Deep neural network (DNN) models have been widely used for user-relevance content prediction. Presented herein are embodiments of a new user-relevance framework, which may be referred as Gating-Enhanced Multi-task Neural Networks (GemNN) embodiments. Neural network-based multi-task learning model embodiments herein predict user engagement with content in a coarse-to-fine manner, which gradually reduces content candidates and allows parameter sharing from upstream tasks to downstream tasks to improve the training efficiency. Also, in one or more embodiments, a gating mechanism was introduced between embedding layers and multi-layer perceptions to learn feature interactions and control the information flow fed to MLP layers. Tested embodiments demonstrated considerable improvements over prior approaches.
