Abstract: A control apparatus having an image capturing unit and configured to operate as a master device that controls a slave device, comprises: at least one processor causing the control apparatus to act as: a registration unit configured to register slave device information of a slave device to be controlled by the control apparatus; and an identification unit configured to, based on the slave device information registered by the registration unit, identify a slave device that exists in a range of image capturing by the image capturing unit. The registration unit registers, as the slave device information, information on a relative direction of existence of a slave device with respect to a position of the image capturing unit.

Abstract: A system and a method for identifying and tagging individuals present in an image are disclosed. The method comprises detecting a second device present in proximity of a first device, for establishing a connection. The connection may be established while the first device enters in a camera mode. Immediately after the first device captured an image, the first device may receive identity information of individuals from the second device. The identity information of individuals may comprise at least one of images and personal details of the individuals. Based on the received identity information, the first device may identify the individuals present in the image. The identified individuals present in the image may be tagged using their corresponding identities. Such tagging information may be stored in metadata of the image for a later usage.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for efficient image analysis. In some aspects, a system includes a camera configured to capture images, one or more environment sensors configured to detect movement of the camera, a data processing apparatus, and a memory storage apparatus in data communication with the data processing apparatus. The data processing apparatus can access, for each of a multitude of images captured by a mobile device camera, data indicative of movement of the camera at a time at which the camera captured the image. The data processing apparatus can also select, from the images, a particular image for analysis based on the data indicative of the movement of the camera for each image, analyze the particular image to recognize one or more objects depicted in the particular image, and present content related to the one or more recognized objects.

Abstract: An information processing device and an information processing method capable of reducing an information processing amount of an application processor that recognizes a subject from an input image are provided. An information processing device according to the present disclosure includes an acquisition unit, a generation unit, and an output unit. From an imaging unit that captures an image and generates image data, the acquisition unit acquires the image data. The generation unit generates, from the image data acquired by the acquisition unit, metadata to assist an application processor that executes processing related to the image. The output unit outputs the metadata generated by the generation unit to the application processor.

In embodiments, an operational workflow for providing automated inventory control includes automated data collection and automated image data analysis. The automated data collection includes capturing image data for a storage facility by a capturing device (e.g., an unmanned aerial system (UAS)). The automated image data analysis includes functionality to detect objects (e.g., containers, trailers, empty slots, and/or other objects) appearing in the image data (e.g., using a machine learning (ML) model), to identify the objects in the image data (e.g., using the ML model), to inspect the objects (e.g., including determining a condition and/or location of the objects) based on the collected image data and metadata associated with the image capturing device and correlated to the image data (e.g., using an advance mathematical rule-based analysis), and/or to generate results that may be used by an inventory management system.

Abstract: One aspect provides operating a mobile pipe inspection platform to obtain two or more types of sensor data for the interior of a pipe; analyzing, using a processor, the two or more types of sensor data using a trained model, where the trained model is trained using a dataset including training sensor data of pipe interiors; the analyzing including performing: identifying, using a processor, a pipe feature location using a first type of the two or more types of sensor data; and classifying, using a processor, an identified pipe feature using a second type of the two or more types of sensor data; and thereafter producing, using a processor, an output including an indication of the classified pipe feature.
