Abstract: A refillable aerosol cartridge for use with a refill station or the like, that has a unique identifier such as a serial number or the other identification. The refillable aerosol cartridge is equipped with a programmable RFID or other data transferring device that can record, store, and transfer unique information about the refillable aerosol cartridge, including the specific user-selected ingredients, and track the cartridge for the life of the product. The unique serial number or other identifier of the aerosol cartridge can be used to track the cartridge and, in the case of a recall, identify and locate the cartridge for notification.

Abstract: A medical spraying device and method for irrigating a wound, in particular lavage system, having a liquid reservoir for a medical irrigation liquid or a connection for such a liquid reservoir, and a compressed gas reservoir. The compressed gas reservoir is connected or connectable via a pressure line to the liquid reservoir, such that the irrigation liquid can be pushed by the gas pressure of the compressed gas reservoir acting on the irrigation liquid through a nozzle in order to produce a spray cone. A pressure reduction valve is arranged in the pressure line and limits the gas pressure acting in the liquid reservoir on the irrigation liquid. The device and method produce a spray cone of a medical irrigation liquid in which a gas pressure is limited using a pressure reduction valve, wherein the gas pressure limited by the pressure reduction valve is conveyed through a pressure line to a liquid reservoir of the medical irrigation liquid. The irrigation liquid is pushed out from the liquid reservoir through a nozzle by means of the gas pressure, wherein the spray cone is produced in that the irrigation liquid flows through the nozzle.

Abstract: A misting device has a form factor that allows the device to be handheld. The device includes a fluid tank that can be pressurized to force the contained fluid under pressure through a fluid delivery system. A hand-operated pump injects air into the fluid tank to pressurize the fluid tank. The pump includes a pump handle located at the bottom of the tank at one end of a rod, and a piston at the other end of the rod. A pressure-relieving air channel extends through the piston, the rod, and the pump handle to emit air out of the pump and into the environment when the fluid tank is at a maximum pressure. A pressure relief valve is disposed inside the piston to control the flow of air through the air channel. The pump handle locks against the tank using a “twist-and-lock” mechanism to remain secured in a retracted position.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to an outdoor paint sprayer having an air pump chamber separate from a refillable and/or replaceable paint chamber. In some aspects, the outdoor paint sprayer is configured to dispense a liquid paint with minimal dilution, such that a paint having an original concentration may be aspirated and dispersed by the outdoor paint sprayer without requiring additional manipulation of the paint outside of the sprayer. In some aspects, the outdoor paint sprayer includes one or more nozzle features and/or tips that produce a desired spraying application. In further aspects, additional features for emulating a particular marking effect may be incorporated with and/or coupled to the sprayer for application.

Abstract: An automated chemical fluid applicator apparatus includes a container of fluid chemical having an integrated pressurization device and an outlet for releasing the fluid chemical. A portable, battery-powered fluid pumping apparatus is retrofitable to the container and has housing having at least one fluid inlet port and at least one fluid outlet port, wherein the at least one fluid inlet port is connectable to the outlet of the container. A liquid diaphragm pump is positioned within the housing. A battery is removably connectable to a battery terminal connector formed on the housing, wherein the battery powers the liquid diaphragm pump. A control switch is positioned on the housing and controls activation of the liquid diaphragm pump to expel the quantity of fluid chemical from the at least one fluid outlet port.

Abstract: A fluid reservoir includes a reservoir body, a heating structure, a piston, and an outlet port. The reservoir body includes a cross section, and a translation axis. The cross section is uniform along the translation axis. When fluid is housed in the reservoir, the heating structure is thermally coupled to the fluid. The heating structure energizes the fluid housed in the reservoir. The piston translates along the translation axis. An available volume of the reservoir to house the fluid is defined by a distance between the piston and an end of the reservoir body. When the piston is translated along the translation axis toward the end, a volume of the fluid that has been energized by the heating structure flows from the reservoir and through the outlet port. The volume of energized fluid is linearly proportional to a length of the translation of the piston.
