    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for recovery of hydrocarbons in a geological reservoir by injection of a low-salinity aqueous solution. A representative model of the evolution of the flow parameters as a function of the aqueous solution salinity is calibrated by use of laboratory measurements performed on a rock sample from the reservoir for at least two salinity values. Then, by use of a flow simulator including the calibrated model, the injection of aqueous solutions into the sample is simulated, with and without capillary effects, for at least the two salinity values with a microscopic residual oil saturation being determined for each salinity value. Then, from the flow simulator including the calibrated model and the microscopic residual oil saturation values, a reservoir development scheme is determined with hydrocarbons of the reservoir being exploited according to the development scheme.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a composition C which comprises, in an aqueous medium M: surfactants suitable for creating a foam in the presence of a gas; and polymers P based on acrylamide or acrylamido units, having a molecular mass of 1,000,000 to 20,000,000 g/mol; or: composition C has a viscosity of less than 6 mPa·s; and the content of polymer P is greater than the concentration limit beyond which the apparent viscosity of a foam obtained from composition C is greater by at least 10% than the apparent viscosity of a foam obtained from the same composition but deprived of polymers.     Abstract: Device and process for converting a feedstock of aromatic compounds, in which the feedstock is notably treated using a fractionation train (4-7), a xylenes separating unit (10) and an isomerization unit (11), and in which a pyrolysis unit (13) treats a second hydrocarbon-based feedstock, produces a pyrolysis effluent feeding the feedstock, and produces a pyrolysis gas comprising CO, CO2 and H2; an RWGS reverse water gas shift reaction section (51) treats the pyrolysis gas and produces an RWGS gas enriched in CO and in water; a fermentation reaction section (52) treats the RWGS gas enriched in CO and in water and produces ethanol; and an aromatization reaction section (14) converts the ethanol into a mixture of aromatic and paraffinic compounds feeding the feedstock.
