Abstract: An auto clean machine, comprising: a light source configured to emit light to illuminate at least one light region outside and in front of the auto clean machine; a first image sensing area, configured to sense a first brightness distribution of the light region; a second image sensing area below the first image sensing area, configured to sense a second brightness distribution of the light region; and a processor, configured to control movement of the auto clean machine according the first brightness distribution and the second brightness distribution. The processor generates a wall detection result based on the first brightness distribution of the light region, generates a cliff detection result based on the second brightness distribution of the light region, and controls the movement of the auto clean machine according to the wall detection result and the cliff detection result.

Abstract: A pressure sensing device, comprising: a frame work; a capacitive pressure sensor layer, surrounding the frame work; a capacitive touch sensor layer; and a flexible material layer, located between the pressure sensor layer and the touch sensor layer and surrounding the capacitive pressure sensor layer. The capacitive touch sensor layer is above the flexible material layer when the capacitive pressure sensor layer is below the flexible material layer. The capacitive touch sensor layer has a first driving electrode and a first sensing electrode. The capacitive pressure sensor layer has a second driving electrode and a second sensing electrode. A 3D gesture control system and a vehicle control system applying the pressure sensing device are also disclosed. Via the pressure sensing device, the 3D gesture control system and the vehicle control system can generate control commands according to a touch or a pressure provided by a user.

Abstract: A computer readable recording medium storing at least one program, wherein an image pattern determining method for determining a stripe image can be performed when the program is executed. The image pattern determining method comprises: (a) classifying a single target image to a plurality of image blocks, wherein each of the image blocks comprises at least one pixel; (b) calculating pixel differences between pixel value sums of at least one of the image blocks and neighboring image blocks of the image block; (c) calculating image variation levels of each of the image blocks in a plurality of directions according to the pixel differences; and (d) determining whether the single target image comprises the strip image or not according to the image variation levels. An image pattern determining method for determining a check board image is also disclosed.

Abstract: An earbud with temperature sensing is provided, and the earbud includes a housing, a speaker and a first temperature sensor. The housing defines a first opening and a second opening. The speaker is disposed within the housing and oriented so that audio emitted by the speaker exits the housing through the first opening defined by the housing. The first temperature sensor is positioned along an interior surface of the housing and aligned with the second opening in the housing for non-contact temperature sensing. In response to the earbud being positioned for use within an ear of a user, the second opening aligns with an inner side of the tragus close to the ear canal, the cavum conchae, an inner edge of the antitragus, or the cheek close to the ear, such that the first temperature sensor detects a body temperature of the user through the second opening.

Abstract: A flexible capacitive touch sensing device comprising a first, a second sensing region and a capacitance detection circuit. Each of the first, second sensing region comprises: flexible material; and electrodes, in or on the flexible material.
