The method for performing PAC code-based decoding by a reception device in a wireless communication system comprises identifying a specific criterion variable related to a channel state for selecting at least one of Fano decoding or list decoding for a signal received from a transmission device, comparing the specific criterion variable related to the channel state with a threshold, performing the Fano decoding in case that the specific criterion variable related to the channel state satisfies the threshold, and performing the list decoding in case that the specific criterion variable related to the channel state does not satisfy the threshold.

The method and apparatus include features for transmitting to a user equipment (UE), configuration information for multicast and broadcast services (MBS), encoding a first bit sequence for the MBS based on a channel coding, identifying a transport block size (TBS) for limited buffer rate matching (LBRM) based on the configuration information, performing the LBRM to the encoded first bit sequence based on the identified TBS, and transmitting to the UE, a second bit sequence identified based on the LBRM.

Disclosed is a method performed by a terminal that may comprise: receiving configuration information for a CSI report from a base station; acquiring a channel quality indicator (CQI) table on the basis of the configuration information for the CSI report; and transmitting CSI including a CQI according to the CQI table to the base station, wherein the CQI table is configured on the basis of a first CQI table of a case where transport block error probability is 0.1 and a second CQI table for a case where transport block error probability is 0.00001. The method performed by the terminal may further comprise: receiving configuration information relating to a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) or a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) from the base station; identifying a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) table on the basis of the configuration information relating to the PUSCH or PDSCH; and acquiring a transport block size (TBS) on the basis of the MCS table, wherein the MCS table is configured on the basis of a first MCS table configured by default and a second MCS table configured for low spectral efficiency (SE) in the base station.

Further, the disclosure provides an LDPC decoding device and method for improving decoding performance without increasing the decoding complexity by applying suitable decoding scheduling according to the structural or algebraic characteristics of the LDPC code in a process of decoding the LDPC code using layered scheduling or a scheme similar thereto. Further, a method of a low density parity check (LDPC) decoding performed by a receiving device in a wireless communication system is provided, the method comprising: receiving, from a transmitting device, a signal corresponding to input bits; performing demodulation based on the signal to determine values corresponding to the input bits; identifying a number of the input bits based on the signal; identifying a base matrix and a lifting size based on the number of the input bits; identifying a parity check matrix based on the base matrix; identifying an index corresponding to the values; determining a number of layers based on the index and the lifting size; determining an order for LDPC decoding based on the number of layers and a predetermined sequence; and performing LDPC decoding to determine the input bits based on the values, the parity check matrix and the order.

The first signaling information has a fixed number of bits. The second signaling information has a variable number of bits. The first signaling information includes information indicating a forward error correction (FEC) type of the second signaling information for receiving the second signaling information.
