The method includes: receiving a preset trigger instruction associated with the target function from a user of the terminal device; displaying a trigger button of the target function on a screen of the terminal device in response to receiving the preset trigger instruction; receiving a starting instruction from the user, the starting instruction being generated by the user acting on the trigger button; and starting the target function upon receiving the starting instruction.

The present disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus for controlling a device. The method includes obtaining model identification information of a device to be controlled. The model identification information is used for identifying a manufacturer and a device type of the device to be controlled. The method also includes obtaining a control interface for controlling a device of the device type manufactured by the manufacturer based on the model identification information. The method further includes controlling the device to be controlled via the control interface.

The present disclosure provides a method and a device for waking up a microcontroller unit (MCU) chip, which belongs to an intelligent device technology field. The method includes: receiving a wireless message sent from other intelligent device when a Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) chip is under a low power consumption mode, in which the wireless message is dedicated to the low power consumption mode, determining whether the wireless message is a specified wakeup message, and if it is determined that the wireless message is the specified wakeup message, sending an interrupt wakeup signal to the MCU chip via a wakeup pin connected between the Wi-Fi chip and the MCU chip, so as to wake up the MCU chip. The MCU chip and the Wi-Fi chip are integrated in the same Wi-Fi module.

The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for controlling a terminal device to access a wireless Local Area Network LAN. When a terminal device needs to connect to the wireless LAN, a smart terminal device firstly acquires first access information of the wireless LAN and validates whether the first access information is correct; and when the first access information is correct, the smart terminal device sends the first access information to the terminal device, such that the terminal device utilizes the first access information to access the wireless LAN. The method can ensure the first access information sent to the terminal device is correct, i.e., the terminal device can successfully access the wireless LAN by utilizing the first access information. Thereby, the method can improve the success rate of accessing the wireless LAN by the terminal device.

A method and apparatus are provided for grouping a smart device in a smart home system. The method includes: determining a preset target group corresponding to the smart device according to historic operation information of the smart device; and grouping the smart device according to the preset target group. Thus, the preset target group corresponding to the smart device is determined according to historic operation information of the smart device. As such, the preset target group of the smart device is automatically determined, and the smart device is grouped according to the preset group.

The present disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus for controlling turn-on and turn-off of an electric current supplied by a smart socket. The method includes retrieving a timing instruction used for controlling turn-on and turn-off of the electric current, and controlling on and off of an electric current to a device connected to a smart socket according to the timing instruction. The timing instruction is stored in the smart socket and a control device. The control device is wirelessly connected with the smart socket. The present disclosure improves the reliability of controlling turn-on and turn-off of an electric current supplied by the smart socket.
