Abstract: Configurations for an optical system used for guiding light and reducing back-reflection back in an output waveguide is disclosed. The optical system may include an output waveguide defined in a slab waveguide. The output waveguide may terminate before an output side of the slab waveguide, which may reduce the back-reflection of light from the output side back into the output waveguide. The output side may define an optical element that may steer the output light. The optical element may collimate the output light, cause the output light to converge, or cause the output light to diverge.

Abstract: A head-mounted device may have a head-mounted housing. The head-mounted housing may have displays that display images for a user. The images are viewable from eye boxes while the head-mounted device is being worn by the user. A head strap may be removably coupled to the head-mounted housing to help hold the displays in position during operation of the head-mounted device. The head strap and head-mounted housing may have wireless power circuitry and communications circuitry. The wireless power circuitry may be used to transmit power from a battery in the head strap to the head-mounted housing. The communications circuitry may include wireless radio-frequency circuitry and/or optical circuitry that allow the head strap to convey wireless data to the head-mounted housing. The head-mounted housing may also transmit power and/or data to the strap.

Abstract: A method and apparatus of a device that manages a video telephony call is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the device receives a heads-up of a network event from a network service of a device. The device further determines that the network event that is due to a local disruption of a network component of the device. In addition, and in response to the determination, the device adjusts a target delay of the video telephony call.

Abstract: An embodiment includes a method to increase the efficiency of security checkpoint operations. A security checkpoint kiosk serves as a Relying Party System (RPS). The RPS establishes a secure local connection between the RPS and a User Mobile-Identification-Credential Device (UMD). The RPS sends a user information request to the UMD, via the secure local connection, seeking release of user information associated with a Mobile Identification Credential (MIC). The RPS obtains authentication of the user information received in response to the user information request. The RPS retrieves user travel information based on the user information. The RPS determines that the user travel information matches the user information. When the user travel information matches the user information, the RPS approves the user to proceed past the security checkpoint kiosk.

Abstract: The present embodiments relate to entry and management of identifiers and credentials. The present embodiments display a credential affordance that, upon selection, provides a credential-assistance user interface for enabling swift access to various credential and management options. The credential affordance can be displayed based on a determination by electronic device that a webpage includes a text entry field associated with a set of one or more restricted resources (e.g., document and/or webpage).

Abstract: A computer system, while displaying a first view, including a first representation of a first portion of a physical environment, detects a request to activate a first type of computer-generated sensory adjustment, and in response, displays a second representation of the first portion of the physical environment with a first display property adjusted relative to the first representation in accordance with the first type of computer-generated sensory adjustment. The computer system detects a request to activate a second type of computer-generated sensory adjustment, and in response, displays a third representation of the first portion of the physical environment with the first display property adjusted relative to the first representation in accordance with the first type of computer-generated sensory adjustment, and a second display property adjusted relative to the second representation in accordance with the second type of computer-generated sensory adjustment.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are techniques for providing relevant results for search queries. For example, a method implemented by a server computing device can include the steps of (1) receiving an unstructured query from a client computing device, (2) providing the unstructured query to a first large language model (LLM) to produce a plurality of structured queries, (3) for each structured query of the plurality of structured queries: (i) identifying, based on at least one aspect of the structured query, respective one or more knowledge sources to produce respective results for the structured query, and (ii) providing the structured query to the respective one or more knowledge sources to produce the respective results, (4) aggregating the results to produce aggregated results, (5) providing the aggregated results to a second LLM to produce filtered results, and (6) causing the client computing device to display at least a portion of the filtered results.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for optimizing performance issues. One of the methods includes maintaining, for a plurality of devices at least some of which have different contexts, metric data for an application that executed on each of the plurality of devices; determining, for a metric attribute from a plurality of metric attributes and a subset of the plurality of devices each of which have at least one common context, a potential performance issue for the subset of the plurality of devices using aggregated metric data for the metric attribute; determining, using at least a portion of the aggregated metric data, a portion of a code base or a hardware subcomponent that likely caused the potential performance issue; and providing data for the portion of the code base or the hardware subcomponent that likely caused the potential performance issue.

Abstract: A network may transmit either beam deployment information or beam number information to a user equipment (UE) carried on a train and configured for operation in the millimeter wave band. The deployment information may include deployment related distance parameters or azimuth angle spread parameters. The beam number information may indicate a number of network beams associated with a current cell. The UE may determine a number of UE receive beams based on deployment information or the network-indicated number of network beams. The UE may transmit feedback to the network, indicating the number of UE receive beams. Alternatively, the network may send a configuration message indicating a first number of UE receive beams to the UE, which the UE may treat as an upper bound or lower bound in its determination of a desired number of UE receive beams. The UE may transmit the desired number to the network.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for a wireless device to initiate channel occupancy in unlicensed spectrum in a wireless communication system. The wireless device may establish a wireless link with a cellular base station. The wireless device may determine to perform an uplink transmission to the cellular base station on an unlicensed frequency channel. The wireless device may determine whether the cellular base station has channel occupancy of the unlicensed frequency channel. The wireless device may determine whether to initiate channel occupancy of the unlicensed frequency channel. The decision whether to initiate channel occupancy may be based at least in part on whether the cellular base station has channel occupancy of the unlicensed frequency channel.
