Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage devices for providing directions haptically such that sight and hearing can continue unimpeded. In one exemplary embodiment, a wearable device (such as earphones, ear rings, gloves, glasses, or other wearable objects) configured as disclosed herein receives directions to an intended destination for a user, the directions comprising a movement action and a distance to the movement action. The wearable device has multiple haptic output units and generates, through one of those units, a haptic output based on the directions. This allows the user to receive the directions through touch rather than looking at their mobile device or from audio.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are a parasol fan assembly and systems for moving air to cool individuals near a parasol. A parasol fan assembly includes a parasol fan structure comprising at least one attachable fan device. The attachable fan device attaches to a portion of the parasol fan structure, such as a strut, and the device includes rotatable fan blades that are driven by an electric motor. The presently disclosed attachable fan device include an electrical actuator mechanism which ensures that when the operation of the device ceases the fan blades become stationary and parallel to the strut and thus do not interfere with folding the parasol fan assembly. In some embodiments, the parasol fan assembly further comprises a safety mechanism comprising a Hall sensor, the mechanism prevents accidental operation of the attachable fan device.

Abstract: An umbrella apparatus having a canopy portion hingedly coupled to a pole portion. The umbrellas apparatus includes a rechargeable electrical power system that provides electrical power to an electromechanical opening and closing system and a light assembly and an entertainment system. A solar energy system is conductively coupled to the rechargeable electrical power system and is utilized to collect and convert solar energy to electrical energy for recharging the electrical power system. The entertainment system features a USB port and allows users to stream music and control the color of the light assembly.

Abstract: An outdoor umbrella for electrical appliances includes a supporting frame, an awning frame, and an electro-control panel. Abstract: An umbrella cover includes: a main umbrella cove provided with a vent; and a shading portion arranged at the vent and adapted to shade sunshine from the vent. When wind blows toward the umbrella cover, a part of the wind may blow through the vent and take away hot inside the umbrella, thus achieving the ventilation of the umbrella. In addition, since the main umbrella cover is provided with the vent, the area of the umbrella cover subjected to the wind force is reduced and the wind force subjected by the umbrella cover is reduced further, thus improving the stability of the umbrella, and thereby decreasing the risk of the umbrella blown down by the wind. Furthermore, since the umbrella cover is the umbrella cover of one layer constituted by the main umbrella cover and the shading portions, the hot inside the umbrella is easy to be dissipated.

Abstract: An air cooled sunshade constructed to provide cooling under the canopy of the sunshade. The foldable canopy of the sunshade is comprised of a plurality of segments of elongated panels having embedded solar panels and a plurality of segments of pliable material to allow the canopy to easily stretch when in the open position and collapse in the closed position, typically arrange having one elongated panel connected on foldable material segment arranged around a center piece. In an embodiment disclosed herein, the pliable material is formed as a pipe having an upper layer and a lower layer, the lower layer having pours through which air can flow to the area under the canopy. The air can then flow from a fan or an air conditioner mounted on the center piece and allowing air to evenly flow under the canopy. The solar panels are connected to provide the necessary energy.
