Abstract: The present invention discloses a portable versatile massage pole apparatus and methods for using same which enable the self-application of massage therapy and muscle manipulation to any part of a user's body. More particularly, the present invention describes a whole-body massage tool having a massage head variably comprising rollers, acupressure knobs, electrical stimulators and other massage tools and which is rigidly attached to an elongate, semiflexble pole between three and twelve feet long. The pole is anchored at one end such that the apparatus functions as a class 3 lever, enhancing the power and control of massage strokes administered via the massage head on the opposing end. An optional cross-bar or handles may be attached to the pole for increased control. The anchoring means can be attached to stationary surfaces and brackets or to adjustable devices such as a smith machine.
