    Abstract: A pressure relief seal for pressure tanks having separable tank sections is disclosed. The seal is formed by an O-ring within an O-ring cavity, in turn formed by each tank section. Overpressurization or improper assembly of the tank sections causes the O-ring to be displaced from its sealing position to permit fluid in the tank to flow past the O-ring and through pressure relief channels at the seal.

    Abstract: A method for preparation of a filter medium for employing in a precise or super-precise filtering machine with an industrial scale wherein a predetermined amount of fibrous or powder-like raw material is compressed into a predetermined space in dry condition and the thus formed body of said raw material is immersed in a liquid so that a filter medium having intended characteristics is obtained by utilizing the high pressure of swelling caused in said predetermined or defined space and the plasticity of the material. The treated medium body is always kept in wet condition.

    Abstract: A fuel filter is provided which comprises a manifold, a connector element, a filter bowl, a filter element, an inlet shutoff valve, an outlet shutoff valve, an inlet port, an inlet passage, an outlet port, an outlet passage and a relief valve in which the connector element is fixed to the manifold, and the filter bowl is reversibly fixed to the connector element. The filter bowl is adapted to reversibly receive the filter element and is so configured that when the filter element is located within the filter bowl and the filter bowl attached to the connection element the filter element divides the space defined by the connector element and filter bowl into an inlet filter chamber and an outlet filter chamber. The inlet port mouths through a surface of the manifold, and the inlet port and inlet filter chamber are in fluid communication via the inlet passage.

    Abstract: A dual-zone showerhead includes a manifold having an external inlet, an internal outlet, an internal inlet, and first and second outlets. A valve is connected to the manifold and is transitional between first and second positions. In the first position, the valve facilitates fluid communication between the internal inlet and the first outlet. In the second position, the valve facilitates fluid communication between the internal inlet and the second outlet. A filter cartridge is engageable with the manifold and includes a housing having a filter inlet and a filter outlet. The housing is connectable with the manifold to place the filter inlet in fluid communication with the internal outlet on the manifold, and the filter outlet in fluid communication with the internal inlet on the manifold. A flow path extends within the filter cartridge from the filter inlet, through the filtration element, and then through the filter outlet.
