Abstract: A method for producing a grain oriented electrical steel sheet includes a decarburization annealing process where an oxidation degree PH2O/PH2 is controlled and pickling is conducted after decreasing temperature, an annealing separator applying process where a mass ratio of MgO and Al2O3 in an annealing separator is controlled, a final annealing process where an oxidation degree is controlled when atmosphere includes hydrogen or a dew point is controlled when atmosphere consists of inert gas, an annealing separator removing process where water-washing is conducted using solution with inhibitor, and an insulation coating forming process where a mass ratio of phosphoric acid and metal compound in insulation coating forming solution is controlled.

Abstract: Disclosed is a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet with extremely low iron loss by means of a magnetic domain refining technique. In a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet having a plurality of magnetic domains refined via a local strain introduction portion, when a direct-current external magnetic field is applied to the steel sheet in a rolling direction, for a magnetic flux leaked from the local strain introduction portion at a position 1.0 mm away from a surface of the steel sheet at a side of the local strain introduction portion, a value obtained by dividing an intensity level of a total leakage magnetic flux by an intensity level of a magnetic flux leaked due to causes other than strain is more than 1.2.

Abstract: In a base sheet for a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet of the present invention, an amount of surface oxygen x per one surface of the base sheet and a value y of a peak (ΔR/R0 @1250 cm−1) of SiO2 on the surface of the base sheet obtained by infrared reflection spectroscopy satisfy y≥1500x2.5 and y≥0.24. A method of manufacturing the base sheet for a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet of the present invention includes: adjusting the amount of surface oxygen per one surface of a final-annealed grain-oriented silicon steel sheet to more than 0.01 g/m2 and 0.05 g/m2 or less, or more than 0.05 g/m2 and 0.10 g/m2 or less; and performing thermal oxidation annealing in an atmosphere in which an oxidation potential represented by a ratio PH2O/PH2 of water vapor pressure to hydrogen pressure is 0.0081 or less in a case where the amount of surface oxygen is more than 0.01 g/m2 and 0.05 g/m2 or less, or in an atmosphere in which the oxidation potential is 0.005 or less in a case where the amount of surface oxygen is more than 0.05 g/m2 and 0.10 g/m2 or less, at a soaking temperature of 1000° C. or lower to form an externally oxidized layer on a surface of the grain-oriented silicon steel sheet.

Abstract: A grain oriented electrical steel sheet includes a base steel sheet, an oxide layer, and a tension-insulation coating. When a glow discharge spectroscopy is conducted in a region from a surface of the tension-insulation coating to an inside of the base steel sheet, a sputtering time Fe0.5 at which a Fe emission intensity becomes 0.5 times as compared with a saturation value thereof and a sputtering time Fe0.05 at which a Fe emission intensity becomes 0.05 times as compared with the saturation value satisfy (Fe0.5−Fe0.05)/Fe0.5≥0.35. A maximal point of a Cr emission intensity is included between the Fe0.05 and the Fesat. Moreover, a magnetic flux density B8 in a rolling direction of the grain oriented electrical steel sheet is 1.90 T or more.

Abstract: Provided is a method of manufacturing a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet with which a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet with excellent magnetic properties and little variation in iron loss in the longitudinal direction of a coil can be stably manufactured. The method includes subjecting a steel slab to hot-rolling and optionally to annealing, then performing cold rolling once or twice or more to obtain a cold-rolled sheet with a final sheet thickness, and then subjecting the cold-rolled sheet to decarburization annealing and then secondary recrystallization annealing, where immediately before final cold rolling, a steel sheet is heated at a heating rate of 100° C./s or more to a heating temperature of 100° C. or higher and 350° C. or lower, and a time from when the steel sheet reaches the heating temperature to when it is bitten in a first pass of final cold rolling is set to within 5 seconds.
