Abstract: A system for weighing containers includes: a weighing station and a conveying path extending from an upstream infeed section to a downstream outfeed section. The conveying path includes a gripping stretch for gripping the containers and a release stretch for releasing the containers, disposed between the infeed section and the outfeed section; and a conveying device for conveying the containers from the infeed section to the gripping stretch, and the weighed containers from the release stretch to the outfeed section. The conveying device includes first and second groups of housings for receiving the containers and moving them from the infeed section to the gripping stretch. A gripping and transferring device transfers the containers from the gripping stretch to the weighing station and from the weighing station to the release stretch. The first and second groups are movable independently of each other from the infeed section to the gripping stretch.

Abstract: A method for producing a packet of smoking articles, including the steps of: providing a wrapping sheet having a first layer of first material; removing a portion of the wrapping sheet to define a shaped profile; wrapping a group of smoking articles with the wrapping sheet; arranging a containing frame having an open zone around the wrapping sheet, to contain the group of smoking articles and the wrapping sheet, forming a semi-finished unit, with the open zone facing the shaped profile; supplying a sheet of a heat-sealable material having an opening; providing an adhesive label having a first layer of the first material; attaching the adhesive label onto the opening of the sheet of heat-sealable material; wrapping the semi-finished unit with the sheet of heat-sealable material, so that the layer of first material of the label faces the open zone; sealing the sheet of heat-sealable material, forming a barrier-like envelope.

Abstract: A slide-open dispenser package for loose articles including: a container for containing a plurality of loose articles, in which the container includes a bottom wall and an article dispensing outlet opening made in the bottom wall; a wrapper on the outside of the container and slidably coupled thereto along a sliding direction orthogonal to the bottom wall; at least one occluding element for occluding the outlet opening, in which the occluding element is movable between a closed configuration, in which it prevents the articles from coming out of the opening, and an open configuration, in which it allows at least one article to come out through the outlet opening. The occluding element is fixed to the container and to the wrapper so that the reciprocal sliding of the wrapper and the container causes the occluding element to move between the closed configuration and the open configuration.

Abstract: A packet for bar-shaped articles including an outer wrapper defining an internal space for housing the bar-shaped articles and accessible through an access opening.
