A hot melt adhesive composition that includes at least 35% polymer, from about 15% by weight, to no greater than 75% by weight propylene polymer derived from at least 50% by weight propylene and from 0 mole % to about 37.5% by weight of an alpha-olefin comonomer other than propylene, the propylene polymer exhibiting a heat of fusion of from about 5 Joules per gram (J/g) to 60 J/g, from 5% by weight to about 50% by weight ethylene alpha-olefin copolymer derived from at least 50% by weight ethylene and at least one alpha-olefin comonomer having at least three carbon atoms, the ethylene alpha-olefin copolymer having a density of no greater than 0.90 g/cm3, and from 18% by weight to about 37% by weight of a wax component that exhibits a melting point greater than 80° C. and a heat of fusion of at least 200 J/g.

A hot melt wetness indicator composition that includes a water insoluble thermoplastic polymer, an anionic surfactant, a leuco dye, and a component selected from the group consisting of acid, rosin-based tackifying agent, plasticizer and combinations thereof, and is homogeneous is disclosed. The hot melt wetness indicator composition exhibits a color change after contact with water.

The present invention relates to a hot melt adhesive composition, comprising based on the total weight of the hot melt adhesive composition: (a) from about 10 to about 50 weight percent of at least one block copolymer; (b) from about 15 to about 50 weight percent of at least one plasticizer; (c) from about 15 to about 50 weight percent of at least one resins; (d) optionally up to 25 weight percent of at least one semicrystalline polyolefin; and (e) optionally up to 10 weight percent of at least one wax. The hot melt adhesive composition of the invention can be used for bonding bundles of metal containers such as cans into packs.

The invention includes a hot melt adhesive composition including a single-site catalyzed propylene-based polymer that has a co-monomer content of from 0% by weight to 20% by weight and a Brookfield Viscosity at 190° C. of no greater than 25,000; and a non-hydrogenated C5 tackifying agent having a softening point of from 98° C. to around 130° C. The adhesive composition has been found to give a good balance of static peel strength and dynamic peel strength when used as a construction adhesive in a disposable absorbent article.

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a multi-ply tissue paper, wherein a first tissue is adhesively bonded to a second tissue using an aqueous, repulpable adhesive composition comprising an alkali soluble acrylic copolymer, The present invention also relates to a multi-ply tissue paper obtained by said manufacturing method.

The present invention relates to a packaged hot-melt pressure sensitive adhesive comprising a hot-melt pressure sensitive adhesive composition and a coextrusion coating consisting of neat low density polyethylene, neat polypropylene, or neat ethylene vinyl acetate. The present invention further relates to the use of the packaged adhesive formed as individual forms in an adhesive application process, and the use of the packaged adhesive in the production of laminated articles, including nonwoven hygiene articles, disposable medical drapes, and also laminate constructions such as tapes and labels.

The polyol component includes a polylactide polyol that is a reaction product of a lactide and a hydroxyl-functional initiator selected from the group consisting of glycerol, a fatty acid monoglyceride, a fatty acid diglyceride, and combinations thereof.
