Abstract:
A recording apparatus includes a head unit, which includes a driver, and a recording data transmitter that transfers recording data to the head unit via a signal line. The recording apparatus further includes a switching unit in the head unit that switches a driving signal applied to the driver between conductive and nonconductive states based on the transferred recording data, a partition signal output unit in the recording data transmitter that outputs a partition signal that partitions a data signal of the recording data to the head unit in response to switching by the switching unit, and a data selector in the head unit that selects data to be discarded from the transferred recording data based on the partition signal.
Abstract:
A method of treating brain injury or brain trauma in an animal by administering to an animal TSG-6 protein or a biologically active fragment, derivative, or analogue thereof.
Abstract:
An image recording apparatus that includes a recording head controller that transfers image data and a driving waveform to a recording head in conjunction with position information of the recording head. The recording head controller includes a driving waveform storage unit that stores multiple driving waveform data, a number of driven nozzles calculator that calculates the number of nozzles driven simultaneously from the image data, and a driving waveform selector that selects one driving waveform data from the multiple driving waveform data based on the calculated number of driven nozzles and a predetermined threshold value of the number of driven nozzles.
Abstract:
Provided is a pneumatic radial tire for a passenger vehicle, including: a carcass constituted of plies as radially-disposed cords and toroidally provided across a pair of bead portions; and a tread, in which: the tread surface has one or more grooves formed thereon; the grooves each have a groove width of 3 mm or less; and a section width SW to an outer diameter OD of the tire have a ratio of SW/OD≦0.26 when SW
Abstract:
An image display device includes a lens array, and a scanner to two-dimensionally scan the lens array with a light beam for image display, in which each of lenses of the lens array includes a convex surface with different curvatures in two directions orthogonal to the optical axis of the lens and to each other.
Abstract:
An imaging device includes a lens array including multiple lenses facing a subject; an image sensor obtaining a compound-eye image including single-eye images of the subject formed by the lenses; and a computing unit processing the compound-eye image obtained by the image sensor. The lenses have different radii of curvature and substantially the same back focal length, and the computing unit extracts an in-focus image from the compound-eye image.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a probe inspecting method for confirming the state of a probe for inspecting electric characteristics of an object to be inspected; and a curable resin composition for use in the method. The method is applied to repeat inspections and comprises the steps of bringing a cured resin of a curable resin composition into contact with a probe for inspecting electric characteristics of an object to be inspected, transferring a probe mark of the probe to the cured resin, confirming the state of the probe based on the transferred probe mark, and, after the transfer of the probe mark of the probe, heating the cured resin to a temperature at or above the glass transition temperature of the cured resin to erase the probe mark of the probe.
Abstract:
A ground terminal has a cylindrical main body. A signal terminal has a terminal main body that is disposed on the inside of the cylindrical main body, and a connecting plate portion that extends from an end portion of the terminal main body. Additionally, a ground terminal has at least three connecting plate portions that are disposed so as to encompass the connecting plate portion of the ground terminal, each extending from mutually different positions on an edge of the cylindrical main body.
Abstract:
A method for producing an optical film is provided and includes: simultaneously coating at least two coating solutions over a transparent support, the at least two coating solutions each containing a solvent and a solute; and drying the solvent in each of the at least two coating solutions to provide at least two coating layers. When the at least two coating layers are 1, 2, . . . n−1 and n layers in sequence from the outermost surface of the at least two coating layers toward the transparent support, n being an integer of 2 or more, the main component of the solute in the n-th layer is insoluble or sparingly soluble in the main component of the solvent in the (n−1)-th layer.
Abstract:
An image recording apparatus in which recording preset information, constituted by a recording start time and a recording end time, is stored for each preset program to be unattended recorded. If there is any overlap between the recording start times and the recording end times of the preset programs that are to be recorded, a warning is generated; and the overlapping preset programs are prioritized for unattended recording.
