    Abstract: The history record unit, in the non-volatile storage device, records recovery history information showing a history of the recovery process. The suspension control unit, when the recovery process' frequency specified based on the recovery history information exceeds a first reference frequency, restricts execution of the specific suspension process which is in response to a satisfaction of the suspension condition. Further, the suspension control unit, when the recovery process' frequency specified based on the recovery history information is lower than a second reference frequency, which is lower than the first reference frequency, under a situation where the specific suspension process' execution is restricted, cancels the restricting of the specific suspension process' execution.

    Abstract: A sorter includes a plurality of sheet output trays, a first actuator, a transferring mechanism, a control device, and a plurality of tray full detection mechanisms. The first actuator travels along the plurality of sheet output trays to guide a sheet onto any one of the plurality of sheet output trays. The transferring mechanism transfers the first actuator. The control device controls an operation of the transferring mechanism. The plurality of tray full detection mechanisms are provided one for each of the plurality of sheet output trays. Each of the plurality of tray full detection mechanisms includes a second actuator and a tray full detection sensor. The control device identifies an actual location of the first actuator based on a change of a detection signal produced by a change in attitude of the second actuator due to transfer of the first actuator and output from the tray full detection sensor.

    Abstract: A recording head ejects ink using nozzles. A control unit determines nozzles corresponding to an image to be printed and causes the recording head to eject ink from the nozzles. The correction processing unit causes a secondary adjacent nozzle of the ejection malfunction nozzle to perform ink ejection with a first ink ejection amount if ink ejection of a primary adjacent nozzle of ejection malfunction nozzle is performed earlier than ink ejection of the secondary adjacent nozzle and causes the secondary adjacent nozzle to perform ink ejection with a second ink ejection amount if ink ejection of the primary adjacent nozzle is performed later than ink ejection of the secondary adjacent nozzle. Here, the second ink ejection amount is smaller than the first ink ejection amount.

    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a drum unit, a developing unit, a developing roller bearing, a guide portion, and an urging portion. The drum unit includes a photosensitive drum. The developing unit includes a developing roller. The developing roller bearing supports the developing roller and can move radially and rotate axially with respect to the developing unit. The guide portion is formed in the drum unit and guides the developing roller bearing in directions toward and away from the photosensitive drum. The urging portion urges the developing unit in such a direction that it presses the developing roller against the photosensitive drum. The developing unit includes a restriction portion that restricts the rotation of the developing roller bearing with respect to the developing unit within a predetermined range.

    Abstract: A sheet post-processing apparatus (1) includes a processing tray (5), a sheet discharge port (7), a conveyance rollers pair (4), lower and upper discharge rollers (81), (82) and a discharge tray (9). When the sheet having a folded portion is stacked on the processing tray (5) with the folded portion downward, a controller rotates the lower and upper discharge rollers (81), (82) to advance the folded portion to the sheet discharge port (7), stops the lower discharge roller (81) before the folded portion passes the sheet discharge port (7), rotates the conveyance rollers pair (4) and the upper discharge roller (82) so as to convey the rear half portion to the downstream side until the sheet passes the conveyance rollers pair (4) and to form a deflection on the sheet, rotates the lower and upper conveyance rollers (81), (82) and then to stack the sheet on the processing tray (5).
