Abstract: A method for managing telephone communication and to a corresponding computer program, storage medium, telephone communication management device, and telephone communication management platform. A request to set up a telephone communication session between a first terminal and a second terminal is received. Each terminal has its own identifier. A first call command is sent to the first terminal. Pickup of the first terminal by a user before the end of a predetermined period is detected. Automatic detection is based on obtaining a signal indicating that the first call command has been accepted, associated with obtaining an indication of a user's interaction with a human-machine interface at the first terminal. A second call command is then sent to the second terminal.

Abstract: A method of processing audio signals acquired by at least one microphone to locate a sound source in a space having a wall. The method includes applying a time-frequency transform to the acquired signals and expressing a general complex velocity vector with a real part and an imaginary part in the frequency domain. The vector has a denominator with a component other than an omnidirectional component and characterizes a composition between: a first acoustic path, direct between the source and the microphone, represented by a first vector, and a second acoustic path resulting from a reflection on the wall and represented by a second vector. The second path has a delay relative to the direct path. A direction of the direct path, a distance from the source to the microphone, and/or a distance from the source to the wall is determined as a function of the delay and the vectors.

Abstract: An energy-efficient assignment of a task set T to a group of M processing devices models the process of deciding the assignment as a combinatorial optimization problem having an objective function optimizing the power consumption of the devices when executing subsets of the tasks, under a constraint that the total utilization of the task subset assigned to each respective processing device is lower than a threshold depending on the number of its processor cores. The objective function may be: min Σi=1M Pi(τi), where τi denotes the subset of tasks allocated to the ith device, and Pi(τi) represents power consumption of the ith device when executing τi, and the constraint Uτi≤Mi/4 for all the devices, where Uτi is the total utilization of τi executing on the ith device, and Mi denotes the number of cores of the ith device. Solving the problem using a MaxMin or genetic algorithm gives good energy efficiency.

Abstract: A coding method and a decoding method for decoding a coded data stream representative of at least one image that is split into blocks. The first quantization step and the second quantization step are determined according to the same quantization parameter.
