Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating delivery of parcels to, from, and between attended delivery/pickup locations. In various embodiments, the attended delivery/pickup locations may be associated with brick-and-mortar retail locations and used to facilitate inventory transfer between locations, shipment of goods purchased at the brick-and-mortar-retail locations to other attended delivery/pickup locations or other locations, and to receive delivery of parcels sent from any suitable location. In some embodiments, the attended delivery/pickup locations are configured to receive shipments of items ordered from online retail websites. In other embodiments, the attended delivery/pickups locations are associated with shopping centers and configured to facilitate shipment of items purchased at the associated shopping centers.

Abstract: Computer program products, methods, systems, apparatus, and computing entities for enhanced cargo screening capabilities are provided. In one embodiment, the method comprises: automatically and electronically executing a first screening procedure for capturing and storing first screening data comprising (a) an x-ray image and (b) first screening decontrol data; automatically and electronically determining whether at least a second screening procedure is required, the determination involving identifying at least one discrepancy between at least a portion of the first screening data and at least one predefined parameter; responsive to determining that the second screening is required, generating and transmitting one or more notifications configured to initiate the second screening procedure within a predetermined period of time; and responsive to determining that the at least second screening is not required, generating and transmitting a decontrol message configured to release the packages from further automated screening procedures.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided for detecting duplicate travel. The apparatus may include at least one memory and at least one processor configured to detect a travel path of a vehicle based in part on received items of location data. The processor is further configured to determine whether the vehicle travels the street multiple times in a predefined time period. Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention are directed to methods, systems and computer program products for conducting an online transaction on a website involving sensitive information. Abstract: Generally, embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods that can identify the location of a consignee and propose one or more alternative delivery location(s). The proposed delivery location may be based on the current location of the consignee, current address on the package to be delivered, information located in a social network (private or public), “to-be” location as determined by the consignee which would be transmitted to the carrier and/or a predicted consignee location. In other embodiments, the consignee or “carrier” may suggest an alternative fixed location or alternative mobile location. In some embodiments, the consignee may indicate an alternative recipient of the item.
