Abstract:
Implementations and techniques for manufacturing flexible micro bumps operably coupled to an array of nano-piezoelectric sensors are generally disclosed. The micro bumps and coupled nano-piezoelectric device have use at least as tactile sensors. A wide variety of configurations of the micro bumps and the nano-piezoelectric device are anticipated.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising D-serine transporter inhibitors and therapeutic methods using such pharmaceutical compositions in methods for the treatment of visual system disorders and the enhancement of the visual function.
Abstract:
A scalable system and method is described that automatically identifies one or more generic tests for testing a GUI. A generic test case is written once instead of writing test cases for every single page or assembly. Each page has a corresponding page type. Each generic test is mapped to one or more testing rules, where the testing rules each have a rule type. An automated system is provided to scan target directories for all relevant pages related to a software product, identify a page type for each page, identify the appropriate generic test cases to be applied to each page, execute the generic test cases, and provide an output to indicate the results of the tests on the various pages. The generic tests for the GUIs can thus be automatically applied to identify and eliminate a certain class of bugs matching the behavior of the generic test case.
Abstract:
A three-phase, multi-speed electric induction motor assembly is configured to include a controller to change motor speeds. The motor assembly includes a stator core assembly, a pair of main winding coil groups corresponding with each phase, and a pair of selectable extra winding coil groups corresponding with each phase. During the lower-speed operation, the controller connects a first set of three leads to a power source such that only the main coil groups are energized. During the higher-speed operation, the controller connects a second set of three leads to the power source such that both the main coil groups and the selectable extra coil groups are energized.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a compound of Formula I, or an isomer, pharmaceutically acceptable salt and solvate of the compound, and to a composition comprising the compound of Formula I, or the isomer, pharmaceutically acceptable salt and solvate thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, excipient or diluents. The present invention also relates to use of the compound of Formula I, or the isomer, pharmaceutically acceptable salt and solvate thereof for combating apoptosis, preventing or treating a disease or disorder associated with apoptosis; and especially use for protecting cardiomyocyte, and for preventing or treating a disease or disorder associated with cardiomyocyte apoptosis.
Abstract:
A computer enclosure includes a shell body, and an expansion card retention assembly. The shell body includes a main chassis, and a side wall perpendicular to the main chassis. The side wall defines an elongated through hole extending along a first direction perpendicular to the main chassis. The expansion card retention assembly includes a first and second expansion frames fixed on the side wall. The first expansion frame includes a main board with a length in the first direction less than that of the through hole, and is configured for fixing a first expansion card. The second expansion frame includes an elongated main plate extending along the first direction, and a first support platform perpendicularly extending from an end of the main plate. The main plate and the first support platform are configured for matingly engaging with an expansion card bracket of a second expansion card.
Abstract:
A mounting apparatus for mounting an expansion card to a rear panel of an electronic device includes a latching member, an operation member, and two connection members. The latching member includes four drive plates, a connection plate, and four latching portions. Each of the drive plates defines a rail therein. The operation member includes four pins, a handle, and a resilient portion. The resilient portion includes a latch block. The two connection members pass through the latching member and the rear panel. Each of the four pins is slidably received in the rail to rotate the latching member, each of the four latching portions is received in a first block plate of the expansion card, the latch block of the operation member is received in a latch of the rear panel, thereby mounting the expansion card to the rear panel.
Abstract:
Several different pyrrolysine analogs are disclosed in this application. Those analogs have distinct chemical and biophysical properties. Some analogs are useful in chemical ligation applications. Methods of making and using are also disclosed.
Abstract:
An enclosure includes a main body, a front panel, a pivot member pivotably attaching the front panel to the main body, and a positioning member. The pivot member is substantially U-shaped, allowing the front panel a large angle of rotational movement relative to the main body. Positioning members are in place to facilitate the refitting of the front panel.
Abstract:
An enclosure includes a main body, a bezel, and a pivot member pivotably attached the bezel to the main body. The pivot member is substantially U-shaped, thereby the bezel can be rotated relative to the main body in a wide range of angle.
