Abstract:
A device is provided for measuring the weight of a vehicle seat and the weight of a person sitting on the vehicle seat. The device is equipped with a load sensor for converting at least a part of the seat weight to an electric signal, and a deviation/deflection absorbing mechanism which has a pin bracket and a pin and is provided between the seat and the load sensor. The deviation amount that can be absorbed by this absorbing mechanism is a fixed value.
Abstract:
A bottom plate portion (3) of a flat cable terminal (1) is partially cut to form at least one spring piece portion (6). The at least one spring piece portion (6) is upwardly raised relative to the bottom plate portion (3). At least one barrel (4) pierces a base sheet (42) of a FPC (40) in a thickness direction thereof, and is so folded that a conductor (41) formed on the base sheet (42) of the FPC (40) is pressed and held between the at least one barrel (4) and the at least one spring piece portion (6). A fine projection (7) is formed on the spring piece portion (6) in order to firmly press against the conductor (41) of the FPC (40). A distal end of the barrel (4) is chamfered so as to facilitate penetration of the barrel (4) relative to the base sheet (42) of the FPC (40).
Abstract:
A seat weight measuring apparatus capable of reducing the working cost and the assembly cost and improving its heat resistance and its corrosion resistance. A load sensor has a mechanism for receiving at least a part of the seat weight and converting the weight into an electrical signal. A strain gauge of the load sensor includes a lower insulating layer, a wiring layer, a resistor layer, and an upper insulating layer, which are sequentially formed on a sensor member.
Abstract:
A seat weight measuring apparatus and supporting structure that can be installed in a vehicle without changing the height of the existing seat frame. This is done by shifting the centerline of the sensor unit from the centerline of the seat frame to take advantage of a space for the insertion of the sensor on the side of the frame. Accordingly, the seat height does not need to be raised by the thickness of the sensor unit as required in the conventional seat weight measuring apparatus. Depending on where space is available underneath the seat, the sensor units may also be positioned perpendicular to the seat rail, in an “X” shape, a “Y” shape, or a “T” shape.
Abstract:
An airbag device has an inflator to charge a small amount of gas into an airbag so as to inflate the airbag at a low internal pressure when an occupant is in proximity to the airbag device, and charges a large amount of gas into the airbag so as to inflate the airbag largely when the occupant is apart from the airbag device sufficiently. When an ignition signal is generated, a first igniter is fed currency first of all to generate a gas from a gas generating agent within a first compartment 6 and an airbag 1 begins to expand. When an occupant P is in proximity to the airbag device, the airbag 1 contacts with the occupant P immediately after starting to expand and a distance between a static pad 12 and an opposite pad 20 increases slowly. A static capacity detected in a static capacity detecting circuit 30 decreases slowly. When the static capacity exceeds a threshold value at a point when 10 millisecond have passed after an input of the ignition signal, a second igniter 9 is triggered.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a connector construction in which the operability in the insertion and withdrawal of a connector is greatly enhanced, and an installation space is reduced, and the rigidity is increased, and the number of component parts is reduced, thereby simplifying the construction. An LIF connector includes a first connector, a second connector for being inserted into and withdrawn from the first connector, and a slider for inserting and withdrawing the second connector relative to the first connector. The first connector includes a reception portion for receiving the second connector, and a through hole communicating with the reception portion. The second connector includes a driven shaft for being inserted into the through hole in the first connector, and guide pins projecting perpendicularly from the driven shaft. The slider includes a box-like body having an open bottom, and slanting cam grooves formed respectively in opposed side walls of the box so as to respectively guide the guide pins of the second connector.
Abstract:
A metallic waste disposal device for industrial machinery, wherein a working unit attached to the distal end of a movable arm of a construction machine is provided with a permanent magnet assembly which attracts and disposes of metallic wastes produced when tearing down a building.
Abstract:
A cleaning head on a cassette of a drum cleaning apparatus is moved into contact with a drum to be cleaned. A cleaning sheet is moistened and passed between the drum and the cleaning head. The cleaning head is made of a resilient sponge-like material that evenly presses the cleaning sheet against the cylindrical drum during the cleaning operation. The cleaning sheet moves in a direction opposite to a rotation of the drum. The cassette body is removable from the frame to avoid interfering with printing.
Abstract:
Car air conditioning equipment comprising: an air feeding device for feeding a constant amount of air; air-blow outlets for blowing air with an adjusted temperature into a car interior; an interior temperature detector for detecting a temperature in the car interior; a blown-air temperature detector for detecting a temperature of air blown out from the air outlet; a temperature controlling device for outputting a heating-cooling control signal to control the flow of heating-air and the flow of cooling-air which temporally varies, based on the detected interior temperature and the detected blown-air temperature; and a temperature adjusting device which includes a heating-cooling device for heating and cooling the air from the air feeding device and temporally varying the temperature of the heating-air and the cooling-air, and first mixing device for mixing the heating-air and the cooling-air from the heating-cooling device and supplying the mixed air with the adjusted temperature to the air outlet device. In a second embodiment electric heaters at the outlet vents are used to temporally vary the air temperature to avoid occupant boredom with constant temperature air.
Abstract:
A process for producing a methylol urea solution which comprises carrying out addition reaction between urea and formaldehyde in the presence of water and an alkali, wherein said alkali is a polyphosphoric acid salt; and a process for producing a slow-releasing nitrogenous fertilizer which comprises subjecting the resulting methylol urea solution to dehydration condensation and drying the resulting condensate are disclosed. The methylol urea solution undergoes no substantial pH variation with time either during or after the addition reaction, and the fertilizer obtained therefrom is excellent in slow-releasing properties.
