    Abstract: Disclosed herein are a washing machine and a sound control method thereof that are capable of canceling noise generated during an operation of the washing machine and, at the same time, informing a user of information related to the operation of the washing machine using a sound. The sound control method includes operating the washing machine according to an inputted operation command, sensing noise generated during the operation of the washing machine, reading a sound to cancel the sensed noise, and outputting the read sound in a state in which the read sound is mapped with the noise. Consequently, it is possible mask the noise, thereby minimizing the noise. Also, it is possible to sense a start and an end of each operation and a change of the operation based on the noise pattern, sense a user's access to the washing machine, and output a feedback sound, thereby informing of the progress information of the washing machine.

    Abstract: Disclosed embodiments involve a novel blend composition for use in sports equipment, particularly for use in golf ball manufacture. The composition comprises three components, (A), (B), and (C). Component (A) can be selected from polymer(s) comprising an ethylene moiety and one or more unsaturated carboxylic acid, sulfonic acid, or phosphoric acid groups. Component (B) is a compound having a formula (R2N)m—R′—(X(O)nORy)m and component (C) is a basic metal ion salt having the ability to neutralize some, or all of the acidic groups present in components (A) and (B). The blend composition can also comprise an additional polymer and/or the reaction product of one or more ionomers and component (B). In particular embodiments, the blend composition is used in golf balls, comprising a core; an outer cover layer; and 0-5 intermediate layers; wherein one or more of said core, outer cover, and/or intermediate layers, if present, includes the blend composition.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a preparation method of aromatic organosulfur functionalized 1,4-cis polybutadiene comprising: polymerizing 1,3-butadiene or butadiene derivative in the presence of a specific catalyst in a nonpolar solvent to prepare 1,4-cis polybutadiene; and reacting the resultant polybutadiene with an aromatic organosulfur compound. Such prepared aromatic organosulfur functionalized 1,4-cis polybutadiene is without ultrahigh molecular weight region and, thus, has narrow molecular weight distribution.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a multi-functional cosmetic device using ultrasonic wave which the user can freely use at any pose and that can provide sufficient cosmetic effects by uniformly spraying mist of beauty water/medicine solution to the face. —For this, the multi-functional cosmetic device using ultrasonic wave according to the present invention provides a fine through hole on the upper surface of the nozzle portion in order to keep the solution ejecting out of the vessel and spraying mist of the water/medicine solution even when the device is used upside down so that the user can use the cosmetic device freely at any pose. Also, a mesh having fine pores are installed on the upper portion of the nozzle, a wave spring is installed on the upper surface of the mesh to prevent leaking of liquids from the end of the nozzle by maintaining constant pressure of mesh against the nozzle. By using the multi-functional cosmetic device using ultrasonic wave according to the present invention, the user can use the cosmetic device freely at any pose since a fine through hole is formed on the upper surface of the nozzle portion in order to keep the solution ejecting out of the vessel and spraying mist of the water/medicine solution even when the device is used upside down.
