A display device for selectively outputting a tactile feedback and a visual feedback and a method for controlling the display device are disclosed. The method for controlling the display device includes outputting at least one of a first visual feedback and a first tactile feedback of a first User Interface (UI) on a UI unit, detecting a user's gaze toward the UI unit through a camera unit, sensing a contact making a movement on the first UI through a sensor unit, outputting a second visual feedback of a second UI in correspondence with the contact making a movement on the first UI, upon detection of the user's gaze, and outputting the first tactile feedback of the first UI in correspondence with the contact making a movement on the first UI, if the user's gaze is not detected.

An apparatus and method of providing a user interface (UI) on head mounted display and the head mounted display (HMD) thereof are discussed. The apparatus includes a sensor unit configured to detect whether an object exits in the proximity of the HMD and if the object is detected, sense a distance between the object and the HMD, and a processor configured to apply a physical User Interface (UI) mode if the detected object is within a predetermined distance from the HMD. The physical UI mode provides a display for a virtual object. The processor is configured to adjust a display distance of the virtual object, when the virtual object is a 3-dimensional (3D) object and the 3D object includes a touch recognition surface, in order for the touch recognition surface to coincide with a surface of the object, and display the virtual object based on the adjusted display distance.

A flexible glass display apparatus and a method for displaying image data in the apparatus are provided. The flexible glass display apparatus includes: a flexible glass display unit that displays image data portions; a sensing unit that detects bending of the display unit; another sensing unit that detects first and second areas which are brought into contact with each other due to bending of the display unit; and a controller, upon detection of contact between the first and second areas, controls at least one image data portion displayed in the first and second areas based on the contact, wherein an image data portion displayed in any one of the first and second areas is distinguishable in the other area.

A display device and a method of controlling therefor are disclosed. The display device includes a display configured to include a first touch display area which is arranged to display content toward a first direction and a second touch display area which is arranged to display content toward a second direction corresponding to an opposite direction of the first direction, a sensor unit configured to detect a gripped state of the user and a rotating state of the display device and when it is determined that the second touch display area is facing the first direction at which the user is positioned based on the gripped state and the rotating state, a controller configured to change a display mode within an identical content which is outputted in the second touch display area.

Disclosed are a display apparatus and a control method thereof. The display apparatus includes a transparent display unit to display content including a first part and a second part based on a first direction in which a first user is located, a sensor unit to receive information sensed in a second direction opposite to the first direction, and a controller to implement mirror flipping the second part to be displayed in the second direction according to the received sensed information. The transparent display unit displays the first part in the first direction and the mirror flipped second part. The first part and the second part are included in the same content, the first part is set to maintain the first direction, and the second part is set to be mirror flipped based on the second direction.

A method for controlling inter-cell interference in a wireless communication system includes receiving information about an interference control period from a central controller, performing carrier sensing based activation competition in the interference control period, and scheduling user equipments served by the BS if the BS wins the carrier sensing based activation competition. The carrier sensing based activation competition may be based on a BS-specific back-off value related to a BS-specific weight. The BS-specific weight may be determined as the sum of products of an instantaneous throughput and a differential value of an average throughput based utility function, for all UEs served by the BS.

A portable device and a control method thereof are disclosed that enable a user to more conveniently and accurately control a flexible display. The portable device includes a main display, a flexible display, a measurement unit configured to measure a first length of the flexible display, the first length being a measurement of the flexible display that is extended from the housing unit, when the flexible display is extended from the housing unit, and a control unit configured to obtain a second length of the flexible display, compare the second length with the width of the main display, and to display an indicator configured to indicate the second length on the main display according to the comparison result. The digital device includes a display unit for displaying a first image including a first object having a first scent property and a second object having a second scent property, a sensor unit for sensing a distance from a specific body part of a user, a scent emitting unit, and a processor. The processor controls the scent emitting unit to emit any one of a first scent, a second scent or a mixture of the first scent and the second scent according to the distance from the specific body part of the user, and a mixture ratio of the first scent to the second scent in the mixture is changed according to a predetermined condition.

Disclosed herein is a display device comprising: an input sensor unit configured to sense an input, a storage unit configured to store first video data containing refocusable frames, a display unit configured to display visual information including the first video data, and a processor is configured to: when a first input for a first frame of the first video data and a second input for a second frame of the first video data are detected, refocus the first frame based on a position of the detected first input, and refocus the second frame based on a position of the detected second input, generate second video data using the first video data including the refocused first frame and the refocused second frame, wherein the second input is a touch input connected or disconnected to the first input, and the second frame is a frame played after the first frame.
