The UE may selectively transmit the CSI associated with the secondary DRX group in an uplink communication associated with the primary DRX group based at least in part on whether the flag is enabled or is disabled. Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to preempting or cancelling sidelink or uplink communications, by a base station or a user equipment (UE). In an aspect, a base station can determine to schedule a first device to communicate, in first resources, sidelink communications having a first priority, determine to schedule a second device to transmit, in second resources, sidelink or uplink transmissions having a second priority, wherein the second resources overlap the first resources at least in a time domain, and transmit, based on the first priority and the second priority, an indication to the first or second device to preempt or cancel sidelink communications or uplink transmissions in associated resources. In another aspect, a UE can receive an indication to cancel sidelink transmission over sidelink resources previously scheduled for the sidelink transmission, and can refrain from the sidelink transmission over the sidelink resources.

Abstract: Aspects are provided that allow a base station to provide a user equipment (UE) multiple timing opportunities to transmit an acknowledgment to a pre-grant (APG) after receiving a pre-grant for a downlink transmission. The base station transmits to the UE a pre-grant for a downlink transmission from the base station, the pre-grant triggering a plurality of timing opportunities for the UE to send an APG to the base station. The UE performs, after receiving the pre-grant, a clear channel assessment (CCA) during at least one timing opportunity of the plurality of timing opportunities. The UE transmits one or more APGs to the base station when the CCA is successful, and the UE receives the downlink transmission from the base station in response to the one or more APGs. The UE transmits the one or more APGs to the base station until the downlink transmission is received from the base station.

Abstract: Aspects are provided which improve LBT by associating contention windows with transmission burst lengths and by allowing contention windows and maximum burst lengths to be adjusted based on interference activity. For downlink, a UE receives a PG for a downlink transmission from a base station indicating a CCA length based on a contention window size associated at least with a burst length for the downlink transmission. The UE performs, after receiving the pre-grant, a CCA based on the CCA length, transmits an APG to the base station when the CCA is successful, and receives the downlink transmission in response to the APG. For uplink, the base station performs a CCA based on a contention window associated at least with a burst length for an uplink transmission, transmits an uplink grant to the UE when the CCA is successful, and receives the uplink transmission in response to the uplink grant.
