Abstract: A conversion kit for interconnecting particulate screening panels to a support frame includes a plurality of panels, an interface and a connecting pin. A method of using the conversion kit includes the steps of providing at least two of the screening panels each defining at least one locating recess; providing an interface having at least one skirt depending therefrom and a bore therethrough; providing at least one pin defining a head and an opposing extension; attaching the head in the locating recesses to connect the screening panels together; inserting the skirt in an aperture of a support frame; and inserting the opposing extension in the bore of the skirt to attach the screening panels to the support frame for screening particulates.

Abstract: In a cylindrical sieve, a first frame 7 is provided with a first ring plate 7a arranged in a radial direction and a ring plate 7b extended inward in an axial direction X of the sieve from an inner end of the first ring plate 7a. The ring plate 7b has an inwardly warped end. A ring projection 2a is fit in a ring-shaped cavity K1 defined by a ring recess 10a and the first frame 7. The ring plate 7b presses the ring projection 2a inward in the radial direction to prevent the ring projection 2a from being slipped off the matching recess. Through holes 7c (counter bores) are formed in the first frame 7 along the axial direction X. Four of the through holes 7c are used to fasten the rods 6 and receive the Phillips head screws 6f seated therein, and the remaining through holes 7c receives Phillips head screws 20 (see FIG. 1) seated therein for reinforced linkage of the first frame 7 with the holder frame 11.

Abstract: There is provided screen apparatus comprising side walls having a lower edge portion configured to accept tubular screen support members. An upper edge extends from the inlet end of the side walls to an apex from which a declining edge extends to the foot of the side walls. The lower edge, upper edge and declining edge are each provided with edge stiffening. A torque tube is secured between the respective exciter mount castings, the torque tube and stiffened side wall being selected to provide that the first fundamental frequency mode greater than the exciter frequency is at least 2 Hz greater than the exciter frequency and the first fundamental frequency below the exciter frequency is at least 2 Hz lower than the exciter frequency.

Abstract: A circular vibratory screen separator having a separator housing resiliently mounted to a base. A vibratory generator is mounted to the housing for vibratory screen separation. Semicircular slots are cut through the sidewall of the housing normal to the axial centerline thereof. An inflatable seal is positioned about the inner periphery of the separator just below the slot. A stop is located just above the slot such that tension screens may be positioned through the slot into position between an inflatable seal and a stop. Strap ties extend across these slots and are fixed to the wall of the housing such that they are in tension when the inflatable seals are inflated.

The screen system comprises a dual screen having a coarse mesh upper screen attached to a finer mesh lower screen with a channel between the two screens. Abstract: The present invention relates to side tensioning assemblies for retaining screen media to the side plates of a vibrating-type screening machine. The side tensioning assembly includes a tensioning rail and at least one angle box mountable to a side plate. At least one bolt assembly provided for fastening the tensioning rail to the side plate and to angle box. Bolt assembly is provided with is a shoulder bolt that is secured to a terminal end of the bolt. The angle box includes an aperture sized to allow the bolt assembly passage therethrough, and a movable plate with a cutout. The cutout is sized larger than the bolt but smaller than a nut. The movable plate has a bolt-securing position and a bolt-releasing position to allow access to the aperture in the angle box such that the bolt assembly can be detached from the angle box without being disassembled.
