Abstract: A supply apparatus for spout-equipped bags conveys in parallel spout-equipped bags to a multiplex packing machine by changing intervals. An elongated-shape holding rail 14 aligning and holding many spout-equipped bags W in a straight line supplies the spout-equipped bags W to taking-out or removal positions c1a, c1b sequentially in a state where they are disposed at an interval P1 in a front-back direction a1 by an intermittently conveying part 1. An interval change conveying part 2 receives a plurality of holding rails 14 supplied to the taking-out or removal positions c1a, c1b and moves them to a pushing mechanism 4 by changing the interval P1 among the holding rails 14 to an interval P2. The interval change conveying part 2 includes a plurality of conveying members 20, 21 and an interval change mechanism part 23. The interval change mechanism part 23 changes an interval between the conveying members 20, 21 from the interval P1 to the interval P2 while the conveying members 20, 21 are moving. A bag pushing device 7 receives the holding rails 14 from the conveying members 20, 21 having the interval P2.

Abstract: The present invention is an improved fitment assembly for a flexible pouch, the fitment assembly being sealed into the pouch as part of the pouch manufacturing process. The fitment assembly includes a fitment having a fitment threaded portion and a cap with threads. The threads on the fitment and the cap both have slots which allow pressure to escape from the pouch as the cap is unthreaded and the slots align. The fitment also includes specialized features such as extended tabs with notches in a canoe portion of the fitment that help to secure the fitment to the pouch. The fitment has parallel guide surfaces to aid in alignment and traverse of the fitment in a manufacturing line where the fitment is installed and the pouch is filled.

Abstract: A filled plastic bag may contain insulation. The bags are stacked in a loader. A pair of reciprocating arms rotate a bottom-most bag causing that bag to fall through an opening of a base. A conveyor receives the bag and moves it through a transverse knife and a longitudinal knife. Once the bottom of the bag is slit into quadrants, a pair of gripper wheels peel the bag off. The bag's contents fall into a hopper of a blower.

Abstract: A loading apparatus includes a loading tube with an input end and an output end, the input end positioned between three and six feet above a surface, the output end positioned between six and twenty feet above the surface. The surface is sufficiently strong to support a concrete mixer. The loading tube further comprises at least one nozzle positioned at the loading tube between the input end and the output end, the nozzle disposed so that air passing through the nozzle into the loading tube flows toward the output end. A valve is connected with the at least one nozzle, disposed to permit and deny air flow through the valve to the at least one nozzle. To use the apparatus, the loading tube and a concrete mixer are positioned so that the fill opening of the mixer is below the output end. Air is caused to flow through the at least one nozzle. A predetermined number of water-soluble bags of material are counted, and the bags are placed, one by one, into the input end of the tube. They are first sucked, and then pushed, into the mixer, where bags dissolve, releasing their contents into the mixer.

Abstract: The present invention provides a commodity carrying-out apparatus of an automatic vending machine capable of reliably carrying out a commodity one by one without causing falling down or clinging of the commodities, and efficiently housing even commodities having no definite shape. According to the present invention, the commodities in the commodity column can be supported by the commodity supporting members, and therefore even when the commodity carried out of the commodity column falls down or is changed in its posture, the following commodity does not fall down due to the carried-out commodity. Since the commodity supporting members each exist between the commodities, clinging of the commodities to each other does not occur. As a result, the commodities can be reliably carried out one by one. Even the commodities having no definite shape, which cannot be self-sustained in a vertical orientation, can be housed in the vertical orientation by being supported respectively by the commodity supporting members.
