Abstract:
A swinging link mechanism, provided on a conveyance truck, for raising and lowering a vehicle body held on a supporting member includes a first arm having a fixed end section which is attached to the conveyance truck in a vertically rotatable manner by means of a horizontally oriented support axle, a second arm having a fixed end section supported rotatably on the free end section of the first arm and having a supporting member provided on the free end section thereof, and a third arm coupled rotatably between the conveyance truck and a prescribed position on the second arm. Third arm is caused to rotate the second arm in the opposite direction to the first arm in response to rotation of the first arm, thereby to make the lower movement path of the supporting member to extend substantially vertically. Hence, the vehicle body can be raised or lowered in a substantially vertical movement path, and the position and attitude of the vehicle body can be controlled readily, by adopting a link mechanism of a simple configuration.
Abstract:
A device for transporting and/or storing piece goods, includes a foldable web (2), which is made of flexible material, e.g. woven material, and which is folded while forming at least one essentially U-shaped holding pouch (1), in which the piece good can be held, and including a suspending device (7), which is situated at the upper end of the pouch (1) and which has at least one supporting bar (6), which can be connected to the upper end of the pouch (1), extends away in a longitudinal direction (X) over the length of the pouch (1), and whose ends are mounted in retaining means fastened to a frame, wherein the at least one supporting bar (6) is provided with apparatus for displaceably guiding the holding pouch (1) in at least two different directions (X, Y), at least a portion of these means being provided at the ends of the supporting bar (6).
Abstract:
A conveyance truck movable along travel rails includes a suspended supporting device for supporting a vehicle body, a raising and lowering device for raising and lowering the suspended supporting device, and a posture adjusting device for adjusting the posture of the vehicle body. The raising and lowering device includes a first supporting axle disposed in the front section in the travel direction, a second supporting axle provided in the rear section movable towards and away from the first supporting axle, a crank arm supported rotatably on the second supporting axle and having the suspended supporting device supported rotatably at its free end portion, a swinging arm fixed to the first supporting axle and having a free end portion coupled to an intermediate position of the crank arm, and an arm drive mechanism for causing the crank arm to rotate about the second supporting axle.
Abstract:
A mobile lifting device comprises a supporting carriage which is capable of travelling along a specific path and from which there is suspended, via a hoisting apparatus having at least two traction members a lifting platform which can be moved with a vertical component of direction in relation to the supporting carriage. In order to prevent uncontrolled lateral movements of the lifting platform, a stabilizing apparatus is provided which is formed by at least one essentially rigid pivoting member. The latter is swivellably connected, in one end region, to the supporting carriage and, in an opposed end region, to the lifting platform. In this way, a movement of the platform that possesses a vertical component of direction is always linked with a defined horizontal movement. If desired, this defined horizontal movement can be compensated for, wholly or partially, by a corresponding, oppositely directed translational movement of the supporting carriage.
Abstract:
A conveyance apparatus of the present invention includes, on top of a movable body capable of moving along a fixed path, attachable and detachable supporting members capable of supporting a conveyance object prior to processing, and a fixed supporting member capable of supporting the conveyance object after processing in a state where the attachable and detachable supporting members have been detached, and the movable body includes accommodating sections capable of accommodating the attachable and detachable supporting members which has been detached. The conveyance object prior to assembly processing can be conveyed while it is supported by the attachable and detachable supporting members, by using the movable body (common element). In addition, the conveyance object after assembly can be conveyed while it is supported by the fixed supporting member, by detaching the attachable and detachable supporting members and accommodating the same in the accommodating section.
Abstract:
A conveyor assembly including a conveyor defining a conveying direction and a carrier assembly operably coupled to the conveyor. The carrier assembly includes a carrier frame, a rotating mechanism coupled to move with the carrier and having a rotatable shaft with a rotary axis parallel to the conveying direction. The carrier assembly further includes a workpiece mounting frame coupled to rotate with the rotatable shaft. The invention is also directed to a workpiece treatment system having the conveyor assembly described above as well as a method of using the conveyor assembly to convey workpieces through a treatment system.
Abstract:
An adjustable frame for carrying vehicles between elongate upright sides includes, on each side, a forward end and a rearward end, each end including an upper and lower rail section joined by elongate brace members, where the respective ends are separated from one another and a length-adjusting insert is carried between such ends to selectively permit adjustment of the position of the forward end relative to the rearward end while maintaining the ends in end-to-end alignment. On each side of the frame, preferably at least one of the upper rail sections has an end portion defining an open-ended hollow tube extending lengthwise of that side within which an elongate arm of the length-adjusting insert is slidably moveable so that structures on the outside surfaces of the rail sections will not interfere with length adjustment. Preferably, on each side, the upper and lower rail sections of the respective ends together define longitudinally aligned upper and lower pairs of open-ended tubes in which are slidably received an upper and lower pair of arms of the length-adjusting insert, thereby permitting the insert to remain permanently in position on each side regardless of the length selected. Preferably, also, the forward and rearward ends of the frame are lockable to the arms of the insert while keeping the insert centered longitudinally with respect to each side.
