Abstract: The present invention relates to high thermal resistance synthetic rubber and a compound for a wheel balance weight using the same. In some aspects, the high specific gravity compound for the wheel balance weight has excellent curve adhesive strength and is capable of being cut and used as needed. Provided herein is a method of forming a high thermal resistance elastic body synthetic rubber. The method includes blending acrylic rubber and fluoro rubber. A wheel balance weight having a high specific gravity elastic body can be formed by using the high thermal resistance synthetic rubber described herein as a base polymer and a metal powder.

Abstract: A polyamide 6,6 resin composition having improved toughness, abrasion resistance and frictional resistance is provided herein. The polyamide 6,6 resin composition comprises a graft copolymer of polyethylene and maleic anhydride, layered nanoclay, and a nucleating agent with a predetermined composition ratio in a base resin of polyamide 6,6 having ultra high viscosity. The polyamide 6,6 resin composition has properties of tensile strength (ISO527) of 83 Mpa or greater, elongation at break (ISO527) of 30% or greater, a kinematic friction coefficient of steel to metal measured by a ring-on-ring friction and abrasion tester of 0.30 or less, and a specific abrasion amount of 0.020 mm3/Kgf·km or less. The resin composition is useful as a worm gear for a motor-driven power steering device.

Another polyamide resin composition includes specified amounts of an aliphatic compound having three or more amino groups or three or more hydroxyl groups per molecule and a compound having more than one functional group per molecule that is reactive with the amino group or the hydroxyl group, wherein, when an ASTM No. 1 dumbbell of 3.2 mm in thickness produced by injection molding of the polyamide resin composition is processed by heat treatment at 130° C. for 100 hours, an increase rate in concentration of a carboxyl group in the polyamide resin composition from a surface of the molded product to a depth of 0.2 mm after the heat treatment is lower than 70%.
