Abstract:
A system and methods for using data from an external database compiled from real device used for testing and simulation of a system. The system includes an external database interface to access an external database. The external database includes a plurality of categories of time-value data collected from an electrical device. An importer converts one of plurality of categories of time-value data to a corresponding topic of a common data format. A device profiler is coupled to the importer to create a device profile including the converted topic. A database profiler creates a database profile representing a system including a device defined by the device profile and including the category of time-value data.
Abstract:
A method of acquiring data and performing calculations on the data using a provider service. A provider ticket service (PTS) receives tickets from one or more clients. Each ticket includes a calculation identifier and a payload. The calculation identifier identifies a calculation to be performed using information in the payload. The PTS associates a unique ticket identifier with each ticket. A ticket manager submits a selected ticket from the PTS to a provider host service (PHS), which determines which provider is to perform the calculation identified by the selected ticket by inspecting provider identification information in the selected ticket. The PHS launches a provider host thread (PHT) that invokes the provider determined to perform the calculation identified by the calculation identifier of the selected ticket. The provider performs the calculation and returns its result to the PHS, which passes the result back to the PTS, which returns the result to the requesting client.
Abstract:
A QUESTION AND ANSWER GAME IN WHICH THE TECHNIQUES OF REINFORCED LEARNING ARE EMPLOYED TO PROVIDE AN EDUCATIONAL AND YET AMUSING GAME. QUESTIONS AND MULTIPLE CHOICE ANSWERS ARE ARRANGED ON A CODED CARD WHICH IS CONNECTED TO AN ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT HAVING A PAIR OF HAND HELD PROBES CONNECTED THERETO. THE PROBES ARE USED TO MATCH A QUESTION AND AN ANSWER FOR THE MULTIPLE CHOICE GROUP, THE SELECTION OF A CORRECT ANSWER OPERATIVE TO ENERGIZED AN APPROPRIATE INDICATOR, WHILE THE SELECTION OF ANY ERRONEOUS ANSWER IS OPERATIVE TO SHOCK THE PLAYER BY MEANS OF A SHOCKING POTENTIAL APPLIED TO THE HANDLES OF THE PROBES AND/OR A DEROGATORY NOISE HEARD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SHOCK.
Abstract:
A circuit stacking multiple asynchronous circuit components, specifically Multi-Threshold NULL Convention Logic (MTNCL) circuit components, with an overall power supply equal to the multiples of the original VDD.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for providing stabilized compressed tampon pledgets. The process includes the steps of providing a compressed tampon pledget and forcing gas through the compressed absorbent pledget. In some embodiments, the process may occur in the presence of moisture, the moisture required comes from either the fibers of the material that comprises the tampon pledget and/or from the humidified gas that is introduced. The process may include the steps of heating and/or humidifying the gas introduced during the process. The gas may be forced through the compressed tampon pledget intermittently during the process. The tampon pledget may be maintained within a permeable mold during the process.

A process and apparatus for producing stabilized compressed tampons are disclosed. The process includes the steps of providing a compressed tampon pledget and forcing gas through the compressed tampon. In some embodiments, the process may occur in the presence of moisture. The moisture can come from either the fibers of the material that comprises the tampon pledget and/or from the humidified gas or steam that is introduced. The process may include the steps of heating and/or humidifying the gas introduced during the process. The gas may be forced through the compressed tampon pledget intermittently during the process.
Abstract:
A method for reordering the pixel map of a multi-dimensional image by representing each pixel address as a unique set of coordinates in binary reprsentation, reversing the bit order for each coordinate, interleaving the binary digits of the numbers thus formed from each coordinate in a consistent bit-by-bit fashion, and using the composite binary number thus formed as a new pixel sequence number; storage and/or subsequent transmission of pixel values then takes place in order of ascending pixel sequence numbers, omitting numbers representing pixels outside the limits of the selected image.
Abstract:
There is disclosed an improved PSA process and apparatus for gas enrichment wherein the pressure levels of the vent gas stream and/or product stream are used to drive gaseous diffusion cells to produce a feed gas stream and/or a purge gas stream to be used in the pressure swing adsorption process to increase on-line production time and to utilize the waste pressure energy thereby decreasing energy requirements per unit of production.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a process and apparatus for gas enrichment utilizing pressure swing adsorption techniques wherein the compressed gaseous mixture being processed is passed in indirect heat transfer relationship to a bed of adsorption material in an adsorption vessel undergoing regeneration wherein the heat of compression is employed to improve regeneration of the bed of adsorption material during the desorption step prior to passing the compressed gaseous mixture through a cooling system and thence through a bed of adsorption material for gas enrichment at a lower, more efficacious adsorption temperature.
