    Abstract: A condom comprises a distal non-adhesive tubular portion 1 and a proximal circumferentially outstretched adhesive flange 2. The tubular portion 1 covers the distal part of the penis, whereas the adhesive flange 2 wraps around and sticks onto the proximal part of the penis to prevent slippage and leakage of the condom. The folds created by the flange (2A and 2B) adhering to itself are used as holding tags to ease the condom's removal. The condom may be produced by sealing and cutting two thermoplastic films to create a pouch with a substantially hat shape seam, and two adhesive flanges (2A and 2B) extending from the seam to emulate the above configuration. The adhesive coating may be on the external surface of the flanges and the condom is inverted outside-in to emulate the above configuration.

    Abstract: A pressure sensible textile has at least a high-resistance conducting area and two groups of low-resistance conducting wefts or warps contacting the high-resistance area directly. The two groups of low-resistance conducting wefts or warps cross each other and do not contact with each other directly. Furthermore, two scanning circuits can be electrically connected to the two groups of low-resistance conducting wefts or warps. Then, a controller is added to the two scanning circuits to obtain a pressure sensible device.

    Abstract: A bidirectional optical scanner assisting in mammography is revealed. The optical scanner that calculates functional images obtained by diffuse optical tomography, used in combination with a mammography machine can reduce the number of mammograms taken and the dose exposure. The bidirectional optical scanner includes a compression module, a first optical detection module, and a second optical detection module. The same test position of the tested breast can be detected twice in different directions by the first and the second optical detection modules. No matter where the tumor is located, the tumor can be detected. Besides structural images provided by the mammography machine, functional tomographic images of the breast are obtained by the bidirectional optical scanner. Thus diagnostic accuracy in the detection of breast cancer is improved.
