Abstract:
A method and system for providing a graphical user interface with contextual views. In various embodiments, the present invention provides a graphical user interface that allows the changing contents of a global menu in the graphical display based upon the selected nodes that belong to a hierarchical chart. Only those actions applicable (contextual) to the selected nodes will be determined and displayed in the menu. Accordingly, the contents of the selectable options are updated based upon the selected nodes. When more than one node is selected, the displayed selectable actions are an intersection of the actions permitted for each selected node. In a specific embodiment, a comparison menu is provided to allow the user to be able to compare unique corresponding properties of selected nodes.
Abstract:
Systems and method for interpreting a data selection on a touch screen may include providing an interface on the touch screen with a plurality of lanes, each lane associated with an attribute, and each attribute associated with a plurality of values. Icons may fill each lane, with each icon configured to display one of the values of the attribute of the lane. The interface may also have a first lane where a first icon is not displayed. It may be determined that a finger gesture input from the touch screen with a direction is associated with the first lane, and in response, the icons in the first lane may be moved in that direction to display the first icon. A finger tap input from the touch screen corresponding to the first icon may enlarge a size of the first icon on the touch screen to substantially fill the first lane.
Abstract:
A power management method for an input device is provided, which includes the following steps: starting to count time and recording a trigger time of the input device after the input device enters a light-sleep mode; and dynamically updating a deep-sleep start time according to the trigger time. When the input device is idle over a standby time, the input device would enter the light-sleep mode and record the trigger time that the input device is restored from the light-sleep mode to an operation mode by a user operating the input device. The method dynamically updates the deep-sleep start time according to the recorded trigger time, and thus better power saving efficiency is achieved.
Abstract:
A frame structure of a concentrator type solar cell module, with its carrier portion and connection and fixing portion of a frame edge designed into a vertical and stack-up arrangement, thus reducing significantly a thickness of the frame edge, such that upon carrying a concentrator lens array, the proportion of light receiving area is increased, hereby raising the photo-electrical conversion efficiency of the concentrator type solar cell module. Therefore, in this way, in a condition of maintaining a same load mechanical strength, the ineffective light receiving area can be reduced significantly, while raising the photo-electrical conversion efficiency of the solar cell module.
Abstract:
Method and system for providing graphical user interface for displaying hierarchical charts. According to various embodiments, the present invention provides a graphical user interface where relational data are displayed as one or more hierarchical charts. A hierarchical chart includes a plurality of nodes that are organized according to the hierarchical chart. Each of the nodes is associated with a data record that contains multiple level of information. At different view level, different amount of information for the nodes are displayed. A view control function is provided for the graphical user interface. If none (or all) of the nodes are selected, each nodes display the same level of information based associated with a particular view level. If only few of the nodes are selected, only the selected nodes responds changes in view level when being displayed.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide techniques for displaying hierarchy information. In one embodiment, a graphical user interface (“GUI”) is provided that displays hierarchy information, the displayed information comprising multiple nodes and hierarchical relationships between the nodes. Different sets of information may be associated with one or more of the displayed nodes. Techniques are provided to enable a user to individually change the set of information displayed in one or more of the displayed nodes. In this manner, a user is able to change the set and/or category of information displayed for one or more selected nodes. More specifically, different sets and/or categories of information contained in the nodes are displayed based on the view selected by the user. In an embodiment, a user is able to choose which nodes need to change the view levels. There are other features in the graphical interface as well.
Abstract:
A solar cell module includes a solar cell, a ring and a lens. The solar cell includes at least one photo detector provided on the top, a plurality of pins extended from the bottom and at least a mark formed thereon for marking the pins. The ring is detachably mounted on the solar cell. The ring includes an upper window and a lower window. The lens is disposed in the ring for closing at least one of the upper and lower windows.

Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a method and system for providing a user interface representing organization hierarchy wherein a group of entities can be displayed as a node, and the node is displayed as a part of a hierarchical chart. In various embodiments, the present invention provides a graphical user interface displaying nodes that represent groups of entities, and the nodes are displayed as a part of a hierarchical chart based on the hierarchical relationship among the nodes that represent groups of entities. In various embodiments, a user is able to select actions for a group of entities displayed on the same node. Based on various criteria, nodes displaying one group of entities may, based on user selections of different grouping criteria, display a different group of entities. There are other features as well, in the graphical interface.
