Abstract: An exercise machine includes a sensor configured to detect a movement of the exercise machine, a user interface (UI) unit configured to output a UI screen, a memory, and a processor. The processor executes one or more instructions stored in the memory to control the UI unit to display, on the UI screen, a first UI element indicating a user's exercise state corresponding to the detected movement and a second UI element indicating an exercise guide recommended during an exercise using the exercise machine, and change and display a color or shape of at least one of the first UI element and the second UI element, based on a distance between the first UI element and the second UI element on the UI screen.

The weight exercise device includes: an exercise body in which a motion is generated according to a weight exercise of a user; a sensor configured to detect the motion of the exercise body; a display configured to output a user interface screen; and a processor configured to control the display to display, on the user interface screen, a first indicator indicating an exercise state of the user corresponding to the detected motion and a second indicator indicating an exercise guide that is recommended when exercising using the exercise body, wherein the processor is further configured to control the display such that a position of the second indicator is adaptively changed based on the exercise state of the user.
