Abstract:
A stand or fixture for supporting a mower cutting unit having a base frame with side members interconnected with at least 2 cross members. A cradle supports stable engagement with a roller of a mower cutting unit, and is secured to and extends upward from and between the side members. The cradle is parallel to the cross members, and positioned above the side members, supported on and secured to riser members. Each of the riser members is secured to a side member. A support member is adjustably secured at a desired location between cross members, and has a top portion extending upwardly away from the base frame, and above the cradle. The support member includes aligned openings above the cradle for receiving and securing a support pin supporting a support chain for engaging and suspending the mower cutting unit supported within the cradle, for accessing components of the mower cutting unit for service.
Abstract:
A chalk-holder for billiard-cues system including a chalk holder having a receptacle including an inner volume and a securing member. The inner volume is configured to store chalk for removeable use. The securing member is configured to engage and be secured at a handle-end of a pool cue for providing ready access to the chalk. The securing member comprises threading. The handle-end comprises an aperture configured to mate with the threading of the securing member. The device may be used to store chalk between uses during billiards.
Abstract:
The combination of an enzyme substrate and an enzyme capable of accelerating the modification of said substrate, provides a triggered release system which works especially well. The use of the enzyme-triggered release system can retain a rinse benefit agent during the wash stage and release it during the subsequent rinse stage.
Abstract:
A monitor and alarm system is provided for a marine vessel having a rotatable propeller drive shaft supported by one or more water-cooled bearings contained in strut barrels mounted on struts extending from the vessel hull or in stern tube assemblies. A heat sensor on the hull senses the ambient temperature of the water surrounding the vessel and one or more sensors on one or more bearings sense the temperature of the bearings. The sensed temperatures are electrically communicated via wires or wirelessly to gauges for monitoring and to a processing unit. The processing unit compares the sensed temperatures and generates a signal to an alarm device to initiate a bearing overheat warning or alarm if the differential between the bearing temperature and the ambient water temperature exceeds a predetermined amount.
Abstract:
A teapot is disclosed. It comprises a body having an aperture, a lip extending about the aperture, a filter element positionable so as to extend into the body through the aperture whilst being supported by the lip, and a lid to close the aperture over the filter element. The teapot also comprises a dish in which to stand the filter element upon removal of the filter element from the body. The dish is stowable, when not in use, within the filter element so that the lid extends over both the filter element and the dish.
Abstract:
Exemplary embodiments include a multi-layer, modular and replaceable heat shield for gas turbines. The heat shield apparatus can include a base layer adjacent the airfoil and a thermal layer coupled to the base layer, wherein the base layer and the thermal layer match a contour of the airfoil.
Abstract:
A medicated module for an injection system to co-deliver at least two medicaments is disclosed where a primary delivery device containing a primary medicament accepts a medicated module containing a single dose of a secondary medicament and where both medicaments are delivered through a hollow needle. The medicated module is initially in a locked state until attached to a drug delivery where a locking plate is moved to a triggering state. The medicated module does not require the user to manually engage a reservoir containing the secondary medicament. Instead, a biasing member automatically activates the reservoir when the needle guard is retracted when the module is in the triggering state. The needle guard prevents accidental needle sticks before and after an injection, and locks after dose delivery.
Abstract:
A module assembly for use with an injection system to co-deliver at least two medicaments is disclosed where a primary delivery device containing a primary medicament accepts the module that has an automatic triggering system activated by a dispense interface needle guard. When the module contains a single dose of a secondary medicament, both the primary and secondary medicaments are delivered through a single dispense interface, preferably a hollow needle. The module assembly does not require the user to manually engage a reservoir containing the secondary medicament. Instead, a trigger automatically activates movement of a lower hub when the needle guard is retracted.
Abstract:
In accordance with some embodiments, methods, systems and articles of manufacture provide for populating a plurality of game symbol positions with primary game symbols affecting a first aspect of the game such that a single primary game symbol is placed in each game symbol position; overlaying, on a randomly selected game symbol position, a special symbol affecting a second aspect of the game, such that the special symbol hides from view the single primary game symbol in the randomly selected game symbol position; outputting a game interface to a player which shows the game symbol positions as populated with the placed primary game symbols and overlaid with the special symbol; and removing the special symbol from the game interface, thereby revealing the single game symbol hidden from view by the special game symbol.
Abstract:
An audio/video content delivery system includes a content source linked by an internet data connection to a content receiver, the content receiver configured to receive access-controlled encoded broadcast content from a content source by a separate broadcast data path. The content source includes an encryptor sending encrypted content to the content receiver according to a content encryption key. The content receiver includes: a host module including a decryptor decrypting encrypted content received from the content source; and a removable conditional access module (CAM) including an access control unit decoding the access-controlled encoded broadcast content, the host module and removable CAM configured to provide an encrypted communication link therebetween for decoded access-controlled encoded broadcast content. The content source and the CAM are configured to communicate to establish the key required by the decryptor in the host module to decrypt the encrypted content received from the content source.
