    Abstract: This disclosure is directed to a rugged plug having a connector, an elastic inner sheath and a slidable rigid sheath. The connector has a coupling end. The elastic inner sheath sleeves the connector. The elastic inner sheath has an elastic arm, and a hook is protruded from one lateral side of the elastic arm. The hook protrudes from the side of the elastic inner sheath and a tip of the hook is a curved surface, an actuating slope is defined on the elastic arm, and a direction normal to the actuating slope is biased toward the coupling end of the connector. The slidable rigid sheath movably sleeves the elastic inner sheath, the slidable rigid sheath cover the actuating slope and the hook is located outside the slidable rigid sheath, the slidable rigid sheath has an actuating structure and the actuating structure abuts against the actuating slope.

In one aspect, a method includes the actions of receiving, by a first computing device, data indicating a function of a second computing device. The actions further include determining, by the first computing device, a context of the second computing device. Based on the context of the second computing device, the actions further include determining, by the first computing device, whether to activate the function of the second computing device. Based on determining whether to activate the function of the second computing device, the actions further include determining, by the first computing device, whether to output, to the second computing device, an instruction to activate the function.

    Abstract: A computer with a function expansion mechanism includes a computer host and a function expansion device. The computer host includes a base and a functional base cover covering the base. A bottom surface of the base has a first opening, and the base is provided therein with a connector exposed from the first opening. The function expansion device includes an expansion seat, a top surface of the expansion seat has a second opening, and the expansion seat is provided therein with a docking connector exposed from the second opening. The computer host is stacked and assembled by the bottom surface at the top surface of the function expansion device, such that the first opening and the second opening are in communication with each other and the connector and the docking connector are mutually docked, thereby achieving an effect of function expansion without removal of a computer.

    Abstract: A scalable in-vehicle video system and a signal control apparatus are provided. The signal control apparatus of the scalable in-vehicle video system can be a standalone device that is used to connect with various peripheral devices for transmitting signals. The signal control apparatus can implement an audiovisual hub device, and can be disposed in a vehicle. The signal control apparatus includes a control unit, multiple interfaces, at least one communication port, and multiple wireless or wired connection ports. The signal control apparatus connects with a sensor and an external circuit via the multiple interfaces, connects with an external system via the communication port, and connects with multiple video recorders via the connection ports. Audiovisual files generated by the video recorders can be stored to a memory module of the signal control apparatus, or can be transmitted to the external system through the signal control apparatus.

    Abstract: A noise reduction structure includes an antenna, a noise source, an electromagnetic conductor, and a grounding member. The antenna has a transmission and reception bandwidth. The noise source radiates an electromagnetic wave. Frequency of the electromagnetic wave falls within the transmission and reception bandwidth. The electromagnetic conductor is closer to the antenna than the noise source. The grounding member is disposed at the noise source in such a manner to face the antenna. The grounding member is electrically isolated from the electromagnetic conductor and forms a good grounding path to the noise source. Furthermore, a transmission dock with the noise reduction structure is provided.

    Abstract: A vehicle power management system and an operating method thereof are provided. The vehicle power management system is adapted for a vehicle load device and a vehicle power supply, and includes a control circuit, a charge/discharge circuit and a backup battery. The control circuit is electrically connected to the vehicle power supply and the vehicle load device, and monitors an output voltage of the vehicle power supply and determines according to the output voltage whether a vehicle engine is started. The charge/discharge circuit is electrically connected to the control circuit and the backup battery. When the vehicle engine is started, the charge/discharge circuit supplies power of the vehicle power supply to the backup battery and the vehicle load device. When the vehicle engine is not started, the backup battery discharges the charge/discharge circuit and the charge/discharge circuit supplies power of the backup battery to the vehicle load device.
