Abstract: In an electric control device, a hardware ID unique to an electronic control device and a software ID associated with a software program are set in a ROM, and rewriting of data of the ROM by a data rewriting device is permitted depending on a result of collating the hardware ID with the software ID. Here, a software ID for development used during development of the electronic control device and a software ID for mass-production used during mass-production are set as the software ID in the ROM. Then, the hardware ID and the software ID for mass-production are acquired from the ROM, the IDs are collated, and if there is no conformity between the IDs, the software ID for development is further acquired from the ROM to collate the hardware ID with the software ID for development.

Abstract: To provide a vehicle control device and a vehicle control method that take into consideration individual differences and the effect of vehicle motion, not only in the horizontal direction but also in the front-rear direction, on the head movement of a passenger, and further reduce the head movement of the passenger through vehicle motion that coordinates the front-rear and horizontal directions. The vehicle control device includes: a head movement prediction model that finds, relative to the head movement of a passenger in a first direction caused by vehicle motion in the first direction, the change in the head movement of the passenger in the first direction caused by the vehicle motion in a second direction different from the first direction; and a vehicle motion generation unit that generates the vehicle motion on the basis of the head movement prediction model.

Abstract: This motor control device is connected to an inverter for converting DC power to AC power to output the AC power to a motor and controls the operation of the inverter in accordance with a torque command, thereby controlling the drive of the motor using the inverter. The motor control device comprises: a carrier wave generation unit that generates a carrier wave; a carrier frequency adjustment unit that adjusts a carrier frequency that is the frequency of the carrier wave; and a PWM control unit that performs pulse width modulation on a voltage command using the carrier wave and generates a PWM pulse signal for controlling the operation of the inverter. The carrier frequency adjustment unit adjusts the carrier frequency so that the carrier frequency when the motor performs entrainment drive becomes higher than the carrier frequency when the motor does not perform the entrainment drive.

Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a rotary electrical machine having improved cooling performance. A rotary electrical machine according to the present invention comprises: a stator 301; a rotor 302; and a cooling passage through which a refrigerant for cooling the stator 301 and the rotor 302 flows. The cooling passage is provided with: a refrigerant inlet 343 through which the refrigerant is introduced; stator cooling passages 3013 in communication with the refrigerant inlet 343; a rotor cooling passage 304; and a connection passage 315 which connects the stator cooling passages 3013 with the rotor cooling passage 304. The rotor cooling passage 304 is provided with refrigerant outlets 306a, 306b through which the refrigerant is discharged radially outside the rotor 302 in association with rotational motion of the rotor 302. A plurality of the stator cooling passages 3013 are arranged in the circumferential direction of a stator core 3010. The terminal end of each of the stator cooling passages 3013 is connected to the upstream side of the connection passage 315 at a position opposite to the refrigerant inlet 343 in the axial direction and in the circumferential direction.

Abstract: In the vehicle control device mounted on the vehicle, the information acquisition unit 11 acquires a vehicle information data group representing vehicle information regarding the behavior of the vehicle 2, a road environment data group 32 representing road environment information regarding the environment of the road on which the vehicle 2 is traveling, and a sensor recognition data group 33 representing sensor recognition information regarding the surrounding environment of the vehicle 2 recognized by the external sensor group 4 mounted on the vehicle 2. Based on the road environment data group 32 and the sensor recognition data group 33, the apparent obstacle prediction unit 12 predicts the future behavior of the apparent obstacle that may hinder the traveling of the vehicle 2. The lane risk map generation unit 15 generates a lane risk map representing the collision risk between the vehicle 2 and the obstacle for each lane of the road based on the vehicle information data group 31 and the future behavior of the apparent obstacle predicted by the apparent obstacle prediction unit 12.
