Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method (500) of obtaining location of a first user equipment (UE) wherein the method comprises, receiving (501), by a location management function (LMF), at least one location service (LCS) request from at least one second UE connected to the network, to estimate the location of the first UE. Further, the method includes identifying (502), by the LMF, at least one third UE participating in the positioning session, wherein the LMF communicates with the at least one third UE. Further the method includes, generating (503), by the LMF, at least one first sidelink positioning protocol data units (SLPP PDUs) for the at least one second UE and the at least one third UE, wherein the at least one first SLPP PDU includes at least one first session ID to the at least one LCS request.

Abstract: A method includes receiving at least one parameter associated with the each of at least one IAB node (100), determining a resource configuration comprising of resources to be allocated to the DU of each of the at least one IAB node (100) based on at least one resource allocation criteria and the at least one parameter, indicating the resource configuration for the DU of each of the at least one IAB node (100). The method includes signaling a timing advance (TA) value to at least one IAB node (100) based on a plurality of parameters, evaluating at least one of a UL-Tx timing and a DL-Tx timing based on the TA value signaled, configuring a cell-specific signal and channel (CSSC) to the DU of the reference node based on the at least one parameter, and timing alignment in a IAB network (1000).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of reducing blind decoding attempts by a User Equipment (UE) in a telecommunication network. The method comprises configuring a Search Space (SS) configuration to the UE. A Base Station (BS) signals one of a subset of Aggregation Levels (ALs) to be monitored based on channel quality of the UE and an associated time period, and a value of multiplication factor (k) and an associated time period. The UE iteratively monitors a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) on the ALs signalled by the BS till the UE stops receiving a new configuration. The UE performs one of adopting an original configuration, requesting the BS for a new configuration, utilizing a default configuration or utilizing an original configuration.

Abstract: The invention in its various embodiments relates to a method of providing surgical guidance and targeting in robotic surgery systems. The method utilizes data from a navigation system in tandem with 2-dimensional (2D) intra-operative imaging data. 2D intra-operative image data is superimposed with a pre-operative 3-dimensional (3D) image and surgery plans made in the pre-operative image coordinate system. The superimposition augments real-time intraoperative navigation for achieving image guided surgery in robotic surgery systems. Also, a robotic surgery system that incorporates the method of providing surgical guidance and targeting is disclosed. The advantages include minimizing radiation exposure to a patient by avoiding intra-operative volumetric imaging, mobility of tools, imager and robot in and out of the operating space without the need for re-calibration, and relaxing the need for repeating precise imaging positions.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an IAB node for achieving timing alignment in an IAB network system. The method includes receiving, by the IAB node, at least one resource configuration and at least one parameter, wherein the at least one parameter comprises timing advance, timing advance offset, and timing error. The IAB node then determines timing for operation based on the received parameters. The timing may include UL transmission timing at a MT of the IAB node, DL transmission timing at a DU of the IAB node, and UL reception timing at the DU of the IAB node. Further, the IAB node performs an operation in at least one resource based on the resource configuration and the determined timing. This proposed invention ensures precise timing alignment for efficient communication within the IAB network system.

Abstract: The invention discloses methods for simultaneously measuring various properties of a fluid using a waveguide. The method includes transmitting a plurality of wave modes into the fluid using an ultrasonic shear wave transducer from one end of a waveguide. Further, the wave modes are reflected from the other end of the waveguide. The reflected wave modes are processed simultaneously. The time of flight and the amplitude of the received wave modes are determined. Further, one or more properties of the fluid are measured using determined time of flight and amplitude of the received wave modes. The disclosed method is used to accurately measure the properties of fluid such as level, density, viscosity or flow rate in a short period of time.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for selectively precipitating and extracting gold in aqueous solution by niacin. Aqueous Au3+ is precipitated selectively as it's complex from gold containing acidic mixtures by biomolecule niacin, with the formula [AuCl4]−[2Niacin+H]+. After precipitation, the complex is separated from impurities by filtration. Recovered complex is reduced by using a reductant like sodium metabisulfite (Na2S2O5) to recover gold metal. The method is highly cost-effective, sustainable and recovers about 96.5% of gold in 2 minutes from an electronic waste composed of Au. Cu and Ni. The method is also employed to extract gold from nanomaterials waste generated in laboratories.
