Abstract: A light source device 100 has a light source 101 which emits light to be irradiated, a chromaticity measurement part (spectrometer) 109 for measuring the chromaticity of the emitted light emitted by the light source, a chromaticity adjustment part 120 capable of placing/removing chromaticity adjustment-use filters CHA and CHB onto/from the light path LP of the emitted light and capable of adjusting the chromaticity of the emitted light by placement/removal of the chromaticity adjustment-use filters, and a control part 400 which monitors a change of the chromaticity of the emitted light according to the results of measurement of the chromaticity measurement part and controls placement/removal of the chromaticity adjustment-use filters of the chromaticity adjustment part onto/from the light path LP so that the chromaticity becomes the chromaticity which is set in advance as a target. Due to this, the light source device 100 can emit light having the same color even in the face of changes along with the elapse of time and variations in the specifications of the optical parts.
