Abstract: A valve having an elongated main body and a substantially flat area defined within the valve between its first and second ends; wherein a stopping screw is received in said flat area so as to prevent extraction of the valve from a casing by applying a force against a portion of the valve once the valve is moved a predetermined number of turns. A method for inhibiting the turning of a valve having the steps of installing a threaded portion of a valve in a first threaded aperture through a casing, where the first threaded aperture receives the threads of the threaded portion of the valve; and threading a screw through a second threaded aperture in an exterior of the casing, where the screw, is disposed in a position to come into direct contact with the valve after a predetermined number of turns.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a multi-laser system are disclosed. In some embodiments, the multi-laser system includes a plurality of lasers, a plurality of laser beams, a beam positioning system, a thermally stable enclosure, and a temperature controller. The thermally stable enclosure is substantially made of a material with high thermal conductivity such as at least 5 W/(m K). The thermally stable enclosure can help maintain alignment of the laser beams to a target object over a range of ambient temperatures.

Abstract: A face insert for golf club head in one embodiment can comprise a substrate comprising a score line groove-free front surface. A cover layer is provided at least on the front surface of the substrate. The cover layer can alternatively overlay at least a portion of the peripheral edge of the substrate. The cover layer comprises a ball-striking surface spaced by the cover layer from the substrate. Plural elongated score line grooves can extend into the polymer layer from the ball-striking surface. In addition, visible markings are interposed between the cover layer and the front surface of the substrate, the visible markings being visible through the cover layer. In one form the visible markings comprise elongated score line markings and target markings in a central portion of the substrate. The visible markings can be screen-printed markings, which are then protected by the cover layer from wear. The cover layer can be molded and can be a polymer layer. The score line grooves can be formed, for example, by molding during molding of the polymer layer.

Abstract: A method for transforming a starting data structure into a resultant data structure is provided. The data structures may be embodied in any language or format, including the Extensible Markup Language (XML). The starting data structure is separated into segments. The transformation may be analyzed to determine which loops are top level and separable. The starting data structure may be analyzed to estimate the most costly loop, then separated along the most costly loop. Segments are transformed independently, and transformed segments are recombined to create the resultant data structure.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a power-saving circuit applied in a portable electronic device, which includes a voltage input module for outputting a first enable signal after receiving an external voltage, a power switch for being operated by a user to output a second enable signal and a start signal, a switching module electrically coupled to the voltage input module and the power switch for selectively receiving the first and second enable signals to determine whether or not to turn off the switching module, and a voltage conversion module electrically coupled to the switching module for receiving one of the external voltage and a battery voltage from the voltage input module when the switching module is closed.
