Abstract:
Provided are chewing information storage means that stores information about chewing quality, muscle activity obtaining means that obtains a muscle activity signal of masticatory muscle of a person, analysis means that frequency-analyzes the muscle activity signal obtained by the muscle activity obtaining means, and analyzes chewing behavior based on the frequency-analyzed muscle activity signal, quality determination means determines quality of the chewing behavior based on information of the chewing behavior analyzed by the analysis means, and extraction means that extracts assistance information corresponding to the chewing quality determined by the quality determination means, from chewing information storage means.
Abstract:
A brush head is provided on the front surface at a distal-end-side part of a neck of a replaceable brush. A fitting shaft portion is provided on a planting base of the brush head so as to protrude rearward and penetrate through a support wall portion of the neck. A shaft hole is formed at a rotation center of a brush head body of the brush head so as to extend frontward from a rear surface of the brush head body. The neck has ahead support shaft mounted to the shaft hole so as to rotatably support the brush head. A front end of the head support shaft is located frontward of a rear surface of the planting base, and power from the driving portion is transmitted to a rear part of the fitting shaft portion.
Abstract:
A dental floss 2 containing a multifilament is a flat braided cord. The number of threads constituting the flat braided cord is preferably 6 to 33, and the dental floss preferably has a width of 0.5 to 4.0 mm, and a passage gap of 0.01 to 0.1 mm. The flat cord may contain a monofilament or a multifilament-connected thread together with the multifilament. Constituent threads of the braided cord are obliquely arranged and fixed, and, when the cord is moved in a length direction, the obliquely fixed constituent threads efficiently remove food residue, dental plaque, and the like between teeth. Furthermore, the flat braided cord is flat and thin, and easy to insert between teeth. Accordingly, a dental floss that can efficiently remove food residue, dental plaque, and the like between teeth is provided.
Abstract:
Provided is an oral cleaning device capable of ensuring a sufficient ejection pressure for a cleaning liquid while employing a small and low-cost electric air pump with a low output. An oral cleaning device is provided with an air-tightly closable cleaning liquid tank 2 which stores a cleaning liquid, a cleaning liquid supply passage 24 which has an ejection port 4a for ejecting the cleaning liquid into the oral cavity on one end and an introduction port 23a open inside the bottom part of the cleaning liquid tank 2 on the other end, and an electric air pump 44 which supplies air into the cleaning liquid tank 2 to pressurize the inside of the cleaning liquid tank 2. The cleaning liquid inside the cleaning liquid tank 2 is supplied to the ejection port 4a through the cleaning liquid supply passage 24 by air pressure inside the cleaning liquid tank 2. An air introduction hole 71 which is open on the midway part of the cleaning liquid supply passage 24 is provided and part of the air supplied to the cleaning liquid tank 2 from the air pump 44 is supplied to the cleaning liquid supply passage 24 through the air introduction hole 71 to eject the cleaning liquid in a pulsatile manner from the ejection port 4a.
Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide a composition for improving blood sugar metabolism, the composition improving and/or enhancing sugar metabolism function in skeletal muscle. The present invention provides a composition for improving blood sugar metabolism, the composition comprising a persimmon leaf extract obtained by a process comprising extracting persimmon leaves with a 40-60% ethyl alcohol-water mixture.
Abstract:
An oral composition includes high stain removal efficiency relative to its abrasive ability. The oral composition contains fused silica and a dental abrasive. The oral composition has a high stain removal ability relative to the abrasive ability thereof. In other words, the ratio (stain removal ability/abrasive ability) of the oral composition is high. Accordingly, the use of the oral composition makes it possible to efficiently remove stains without damaging the teeth more than necessary.

Abstract:
In an interdental cleaning tool, a flexible cleaning portion including a core covering portion that covers a core base, and a plurality of recesses that are formed due to hold pins during insert molding. The recesses are formed along a longitudinal direction of the core base portion. A core base exposed portion of each recess has a shape elongated in an oblique direction that intersects both the longitudinal direction and a lateral direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction, and, at a position where a dimension of the core base exposed portion in the longitudinal direction is maximum, the maximum dimension is 0.25 mm or less.
