Abstract: Provided is an aerial-staying type communication relay apparatus that can suppress fluctuations in a directivity pattern due to reflection at an antenna-mounting member to which a service link antenna is mounted, stably fix a footprint of a cell, and as a result, prevent deterioration of communication quality. The communication relay apparatus includes an antenna having plural antenna elements that form a cell for performing a radio communication of a service link to and from the terminal apparatus and an antenna-mounting member to which the antenna is mounted, and a layer of radio wave absorber or a layer of frequency-selective electromagnetic shielding member that selectively shields radio waves having a frequency of the service link, which is provided on an outer surface exposed to an outside of the antenna-mounting member. Phases and amplitudes of signals transmitted and received via each of the plural antenna elements of the antenna may be controlled.

The acquiring unit (231) acquires positional information that is related to a terminal device installed at an arbitrary location serving as a reference for a path of an air vehicle and that is calculated on the basis of correction information that includes information on coordinates of a reference station associated with an area in which the terminal device is positioned and information based on a satellite signal received by the reference station. The determination unit (233) determines a flight path of the air vehicle on the basis of the positional information acquired by the acquiring unit.

Abstract: It is to mitigate a deterioration of an interference reduction performance between multi-feeder links due to a weight-calculation processing delay, when a combination of plural antennas for feeder link (FL antenna) incorporated in an aerial-staying type communication relay apparatus and plural gateway (GW) stations changes. With respect to each of plural combination patterns in which combinations of plural FL antennas of relay communication station and the plural GW stations are different from each other, a system calculates and stores a weight corresponding to each of the plural GW stations, selects a calculation result of the weight of the combination pattern corresponding to the changed combination, when the combination of the plural FL antennas and the plural GW stations changes due to at least one of a rotation and movement of the communication relay apparatus, and suppresses an interference between the feeder links when transmitting and receiving signals between the relay communication station and the plural GW stations based on the selected calculation result of the weight of the combination pattern.
