    Abstract: A thermoelectric cell includes a thermoelectric body including heat-utilizing power generating elements in each of which a thermoelectric conversion layer and a solid electrolyte layer are layered, and converting thermal energy into electrical energy, a conductive case including a first case body and a second case body which are combined in an insulated state and accommodating the thermoelectric body, an insulating member electrically insulating the first case body or the second case body and the solid electrolyte layer on a side surface of the thermoelectric body while electrically insulating the first case body and the second case body, and a compressible conductor accommodated in the case and compressed by being sandwiched between the thermoelectric body and the case. The first case body, the thermoelectric body, and the second case body are electrically connected in a stacked direction.

    Abstract: There is provided a conveying device that can support a car weight with a mechanism lighter in weight. A driving device (6) of a conveying device that lifts and lowers a loading-weight support along a rail (3) includes a wheel unit (13) and a link (14). The wheel unit (13) drives to rotate a driving wheel (15) in contact with a guide surface (11) to lift and lower the loading-weight support. The link (14) includes a first joint (17) connected to the wheel unit (13) and a second joint (18) rotatably supported by the loading-weight support. The second joint (18) is arranged in a position further apart from the guide surface (11) than the first joint (17), and above the first joint (17). The link (14) is arranged such that a straight line connecting the first joint (17) and the second joint (18) is tilted smaller than 45 degrees.

    Abstract: The present disclosure generally relate to an integrated circuit utilizing spin orbital-spin orbital (SO-SO) logic. The integrated circuit comprises a plurality of SO-SO logic cells, where each SO-SO logic cell comprises a first spin orbit torque (SOT1) layer, a second spin orbit torque (SOT2) layer, and a ferromagnetic layer disposed between the SOT1 and SOT2 layer. Each SO-SO logic cell is configured for: a first current path that is in plane to a plane of the SOT1 layer, and a second current path that is perpendicular to a plane of the SOT2 layer, the second current path being configured to extend into the ferromagnetic layer. The integrated circuit further comprises a common voltage source connected to each SOT device, and one or more interconnects disposed between adjacent SOT devices of the plurality of SOT devices, the one or more interconnects connecting the adjacent SOT devices together.
