This invention provides an electronic device including a base defining a receiving space, a cover coupled to the base, a main circuit board retained within the receiving space, a control panel attached to the cover, and a receiver. The cover includes a positioning tab defining a cutout. The receiver includes a main body to convert remote signals into electrical signals and a plurality of pins parallelly connected to the main body. The main body is fixed within the cutout and the pins are connected in parallel to the control panel for transmitting the converted electrical signals to the main circuit board via the control panel.

An electronic device includes a cover, a base, a circuit board, an indicator lamp mounted on the circuit board, and a light guide plate fixed to the cover. The cover includes a first sidewall with a first edge and a through hole adjacent to the first edge. The base includes a second sidewall with a second edge contacting the first edge, and a blocking tab with a top portion above the second edge. The base is coupled to the cover and cooperatively defines a receiving space accommodating the circuit board. The light guide member includes a first end surface facing the indicator lamp and a second end surface located within the through hole and facing an outside of the cover. The light guide plate is made of light pervious material. The blocking tab prevents light from leaking out through a gap formed between the first edge and the second edge.

The switch module includes a switch received in the casing, and a slidable button embedded in the slot. The slidable button includes an operating portion received in the slot and abutting an outer face of the casing, a holding portion extending outwardly from the operating portion and through the through hole, and two elastic arms respectively extending outwardly from two lateral sides of the holding portion. Each elastic arm includes a connecting section extending outwardly from the holding portion and a locking section protruding outwardly from the connecting section towards the operating portion. The locking sections of the elastic arms abut an inner face of the casing, whereby the slidable button is fixed to the casing.
