Abstract:
A cooler insert has a base and a plurality of walls forming a compartment; at least one lid for enclosing the compartment; and, an insert-cooler positioning mechanism for positioning the cooler insert within the cooler. The insert-cooler positioning mechanism may be protrusions extending from the cooler insert and abutting the cooler walls.
Abstract:
An interlocking modular animal training pad tray configured to interlock with one or more adjacent interlocking modular animal training pad trays while preventing leaking between the adjacent trays. The interlocking modular animal training pad tray having a modular body with four rigid sides forming a tray configured to hold an animal training pad. Each side of the four rigid sides including at least one fastening element.
Abstract:
An active stick apparatus 40 includes a stick housing 41 and a stick control member 42 pivotally mounted to the stick housing 41 at a pivot point 43. The pivot point 43 acts to divide the stick control member 42 into a first member section 44 and a second member section 45. The pivot point 43 allows the stick control member 42 to pivot with respect to the stick housing 41, as indicated by directional arrows 46 and 47. An actuator 50 is attached to the first member section 44 at an end distal from the pivot point 43. The actuator 50 is arranged to act as a counterbalance to movement of the stick control member 42 about the pivot point 43 under acceleration forces asserted on the stick control member 42. The output axle drive 52 of the actuator 50 is fixedly coupled to a first section 53 of a drive link 54 and a second section 55 of the drive link 54 is pivotally coupled to a first section 56 of a mounting linkage 57. A second section 58 of the mounting linkage 57 is pivotally coupled to the stick housing 41. Coupling of the actuator 50 to the first member section mitigates the requirement for a conventional lump mass.
Abstract:
A tactile cueing apparatus for incorporation in an aircraft flight control system comprising a flight control surface, and a pilots inceptor (12) for moving the surface via a servo-assisted mechanical linkage (28) connecting the inceptor to the control surface, the apparatus comprising a force sensor for sensing a force applied to the inceptor by the pilot to move the control surface, an electromechanical actuator (34) configured to be installed with the mechanical linkage between the inceptor and means in the system providing said servo-assistance, and control means programmed to cause the actuator (i) to move so that the linkage moves to a position determined by said force according to a predetermined relationship, (ii) to apply to the inceptor a resisting force according to a predetermined relationship and which when the linkage has moved to its commanded position is equal and opposite to the force sensed by the force sensor.

Abstract:
Automatically managing network addresses in a managed access environment is described. A managed access environment is defined as one in which a service provider delegates responsibility for a portion of their address space to an access provider, which is responsible for distributing the addresses to devices used by subscribers of the service provider. An aspect of the invention allows rule-action associations to be defined. The method includes accessing network address utilization data and evaluating rule conditions in relation to the utilization data. When a rule condition is met, an associated address management action is executed. Different embodiments of the invention provide execution of different actions, such as allocating, reconfiguring, and reclaiming addresses from a service provider's address space.

Abstract:
A water remediation treatment device and system that can be used in various applications including, but not limited agriculture and aquaculture operations such as commercial fish and/or crustacean farming. The device disclosed herein includes at least one reaction unit. The reaction unit includes housing having an interior chamber accessible by a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. The housing includes means for defining a fluid flow path within the housing and a plurality of electrodes operatively positioned in the fluid flow path, wherein at least a portion of the electrodes are oriented in a circular or semicircular relationship relative to one another. In certain embodiments, at least a portion of the electrodes are oriented in a spiral relationship relative to one another and are oriented at an angle relative to the fluid flow path. In certain embodiments, the electrode can function either anodicly or cathodicly depending on suitable inputs.
