Abstract:
A method of making an upwardly open container having a base wall, an upright perimeter wall, and an upright internal wall between one part of the perimeter wall and another part of the perimeter wall, the perimeter wall and the internal wall forming first and second compartments within the container, wherein the method comprises injecting a molten water-soluble polymer into a mold cavity between cooperating male and female mold parts; wherein there are independently movable first and second male parts separated by a gap in which the internal wall is formed, and wherein the first and second male parts correspond to the first and second compartments of the container to be formed.
Abstract:
A syringe tip cap sealingly closes a distal opening of a syringe body. The syringe tip cap has a fastening ring which can be placed and fastened on the syringe body about the distal opening, and a closure cap which closes the distal opening in a sealed manner and is connected releasably to the fastening ring. The fastening ring has a locking means device that locks together with a locking device of the closure cap. The locking device of the fastening ring and the locking device of the closure cap are configured in such a way that they cannot be unlocked without sustaining damage. The syringe tip cap may be produced in a two-component injection molding process.
Abstract:
Method for producing a syringe with a glued cannula, in which a syringe body is provided with a lubricant internally at high temperature, and either the lubricant is prevented from penetrating into a cannula receptacle of the syringe body, or the lubricant is cleared from the cannula receptacle of the syringe body afterward, and a cannula is glued into the cannula receptacle; and a syringe with a body comprising a cylinder portion and a narrowed cannula receptacle portion, whereby the cylinder portion is provided internally with a lubricant—this being deposited at high temperature—a cannula receptacle of the receptacle portion is cleared of lubricant, and a cannula is glued into the cannula receptacle.
Abstract:
A gripping strip for prefilled disposable syringes having a syringe cylinder. The gripping strip has a gripping strip element formed as a separate synthetic plastic part fixedly mountable on the syringe cylinder, a plate-shaped abutment provided on the gripping strip element and having a hollow cylindrical receptacle with an outer diameter which is adapted to be smaller than an inner diameter of the syringe cylinder, arresting elements provided in a region of an outer surface of the gripping strip element for mounting with the syringe cylinder in a complimentary inner undercut of the syringe cylinder, a safety ring insertable in an interior of the receptacle for maintaining a working connection, the safety ring being connected with the interior of the receptacle of one piece through locations of desired breakage in an unsecured position, so that during placing the syringe cylinder over the receptacle it is displaceable into a securing position. The receptacle has an outer surface which is formed of peripheral portions with gaps therebetween, the arresting elements being arranged in the gaps for a form-locking operative connection with the inner undercut of the syringe cylinder.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a one-way valve (1; 1′) for discharge regulation of a tube, the one-way valve (1; 1′) comprising a sealing means (9) and a ring support (8), with the sealing means (9) being at least partially inserted in the ring support (8), wherein the sealing means (9) comprises a sealing element (11) and a support element (12) that has at least one opening (10), wherein the sealing element (11) is connected to the support element (12) by anchoring means (13) and rests on the ring support (12) in a closed state of the one-way valve (1; 1′) thereby covering the at least one opening (10), and wherein the sealing element (11) is of lower bending stiffness than the support element (12) and the ring support (8). The invention furthermore relates to a tube with a tube head (2; 2′) and a container (6), wherein such a one-way valve (1; 1′) is inserted in the neck (4) of the tube head (2; 2′). Moreover the invention relates to a method for manufacturing such a one-way valve (1; 1′).
Abstract:
Exemplary monitoring methods and monitoring devices are disclosed, e.g., for an electrostatic coating plant which coats components with a coating agent that is electrically charged by means of a high voltage device. An exemplary monitoring method comprises determining a first operating variable of a high voltage device, comparing the first operating variable to a limit value, and initiating a safety measure if the comparison between the first operating variable and the limit value indicates a disturbance in the electrostatic coating plant. The limit value may be flexibly adjusted depending on the operation mode.
Abstract:
A needleless syringe that provides the necessary high pressure, is easily generated despite the utilization of relatively thin-walled glass ampules for storing an injectable medicine. A plastic body of the needleless syringe contains an interior space surrounded by walls. The interior space is divided into a first region with one end open to the outside and an adjoining second region. A glass ampule containing a medicine, which is sealed at both ends with plunger-type stoppers, is disposed in the first region. The second region contains an output opening leading through the wall of the plastic body. A ram is provided with which the stopper that is averted from the second region can be pushed into the glass ampule and into the second region.
Abstract:
The glass container stores and preserves pharmaceutical or diagnostic solutions for medicinal purposes. So that the container is free of silicones and other residues, it is provided with an amorphous, transparent anti-adherent coating (4) over its entire interior surface from its bottom over the wall (3) to the closure device (2). This anti-adherent coating (4) is free of heavy metals, free of silicones, is stable after autoclaving at about 120° C. for about 20 min or hot air sterilization for 30 min at 300° C., has a contact angle for wetting with water of ≧80°, contains silicon, oxygen, carbon, fluorine and hydrogen and is deposited by a PECVD method, especially a PICVD method. If the coating contains less than 0.1% by weight fluorine, then it contains greater than or equal to 10% by weight carbon, but if it contains greater than or equal to 0.1% fluorine then it contains greater than or equal to 5% by weight carbon.
