    Abstract: A compaction machine may operate autonomously to travel along defined paths through a work area while compacting the surface of the work area. A worksite controller may generate the paths and assign the compaction machine to follow the paths. The worksite controller may model the shape of the paths through the work area based on the shape of a model edge of the work area, such that the paths may be non-straight if the model edge is not straight. If the model edge bends at angles that exceed a threshold angle, the worksite controller may smoothen the model edge and model that shape of the generated paths based on the smoothened model edge.

The signal may include position information indicating a position of the hauling machine along a travel path the hauling machine is assigned to traverse extending between a material transfer site to a dump site, a payload capacity of the hauling machine, and an estimated volume of a material loaded into the hauling machine based on the payload capacity of the hauling machine.     Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for optimal utilization of machines for performing tasks across a predetermined area. A request may be initiated by interacting with an element of a graphical environment to perform a job on a predetermined area, the job including a plurality of tasks associated with a plurality of machines. In response to the request, a first machine of the plurality of machines may be deployed to the predetermined area to execute a first task of the plurality of tasks. A deployment event may be determined, and upon detection of the deployment event, a second machine may be deployed to the predetermined area to execute a second task of the plurality of tasks autonomously, the first task and the second task being indicated as elements of the graphical environment.
