Abstract:
A modular heat exchanger includes: two finned heat sinks, each finned heat sink has multiple guiding plates and a mounting recess; a securing assembly for securing the two finned heat sinks; a heat conduction pipe mounted in the mounting recesses; multiple modular blocks linearly arranged, and each modular block has multiple inlet through holes and multiple outlet through holes; multiple water pipes, each water pipe has two ends mounted through the inlet through holes and the outlet through holes respectively; and multiple coolers mounted to an outer sidewall defined on at least one of the modular blocks. It is convenient to assemble, disassemble or expand the modular heat exchanger, so as to improve performance of the modular heat exchanger. When one of the coolers fails, it is able to reach and detach said failed cooler by disassembling some parts of the modular heat exchanger, which is convenient.
Abstract:
A method for playing interactive games via a portable apparatus is disclosed. The method is applied to a portable apparatus. The method includes: transmitting a location signal; receiving location signals transmitted from other portable apparatuses; receiving a shooting signal; and determining a game status based on the shooting signal.
Abstract:
A biochemical analyzer having a microprocessing apparatus with expandable voice capacity is characterized in that a driving module is installed in a data processor and a voice carrier is replaceable. Thereby, increase or decrease of voice files can be easily done by replacing the current voice carrier with an alternative voice carrier storing desired voice files, without the need of replacing the driving module together with the voice carrier, thereby saving costs and reducing processing procedures.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes an upper body, a lower cover, a lower body, and a slide mechanism installed between the upper body and the lower cover. The lower cover is fastened on the lower body. The mechanism includes a fixed element, a slide element, and two plates. The fixed element is fastened on the lower cover. The slide element may slide relative to the fixed element. The plates are fastened on two opposite sides of the slide element and the upper body.
Abstract:
A bidirectional optical scanner assisting in mammography is revealed. The optical scanner that calculates functional images obtained by diffuse optical tomography, used in combination with a mammography machine can reduce the number of mammograms taken and the dose exposure. The bidirectional optical scanner includes a first compression plate, a first optical detection module, a second optical detection module and a second compression plate. The same test position of the tested breast can be detected twice in different directions by the first and the second optical detection modules. No matter where the tumor is located, the tumor can be detected. Besides structural images provided by the mammography machine, functional tomographic images of the breast are obtained by the bidirectional optical scanner. Thus diagnostic accuracy in the detection of breast cancer is improved.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a power-managed socket adapted for connecting to an electrical device and thus providing the electrical device with power. The power-managed socket comprises: a detection circuit capable of detecting and outputting a characteristic value of the electrical device connected to the power-managed socket, the characteristic value being a voltage value or a current value; an identification database capable of storing parameters corresponding to at least one specific electrical product; a micro control unit capable of converting the characteristic value received from the detection circuit after the characteristic value is analog-to-digital converted into an electric signal while comparing the electric signal with signals stored in the identification database to determine whether the electrical device connected to the power-managed socket is the specific electric product; and a power circuit capable of providing the detection circuit, the identification database and the micro control unit with power.
Abstract:
An image acquiring apparatus and an image processing method thereof. First, the apparatus acquires an image including at least one pixel corresponding to image data. A location of the at least one pixel of the image is represented by an actual coordinate. Next, the apparatus proceeds the stray processing according to the actual coordinate and generates a virtual compensation parameter. Then, the apparatus adjusts the image data into adjusted image data according to the virtual compensation parameter. Finally, the apparatus displays the image according to the adjusted image data.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses fluoride-releasing strips for caries prevention, wherein the fluoride-releasing strips comprises a colloidal fluoride-containing solution for releasing fluorine ion and a support substrate. A colloidal fluoride-containing solution comprises a fluoride solution, at least one buffer, at least one moisturizer and a carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC). The concentration of fluoride ions in said colloidal fluoride-containing solution ranges from 2500 ppm to ppm. The support substrate is waterproof material and the colloidal fluoride-containing solution is applied on the support substrate.
Abstract:
The speed of the network address translation translated with software is generally slower than the speed of transmitting packet in the network, so that the data stored in memory is affected. In this invention, the network address translation is translated by hardware, and a plurality of comparing engines is employed to accelerate the translating speed. Therefore, even in the worst case scenario, the time needed for translating the network address is shorter than the time needed for storing the packet into memory, so that the operation of the network address translation is assured not to affect the data transmission in the network.
