Abstract: A treatment device includes a body and a generator configured to releasably attach to the body. The generator at least partially including a first energy generator element and a second energy generator element, the first and second energy generator elements being independently operable to convert electricity into a first energy type and a second energy type, respectively, and to direct the first and second energy types toward an area of skin. The first energy generator element includes a drive mechanism, a piston, and a tissue contact surface that is linearly actuatable along an axis to contact and cause corresponding physical movement of the area of skin.

Abstract: Numerous aspects of communication devices, methods, and systems are described in this application. One aspect is an apparatus comprising an energy generator comprising a plurality of generator elements operable to output a plurality of different energy types in a signal direction toward the skin. Each generator element of the plurality of generator elements may be independently operable, when the energy generator is positioned relative to skin, to communicate with different nerves associated with the skin by outputting a different portion of an energy signal in the signal direction toward the skin with one energy type of the plurality of different energy types.

Abstract: A treatment device including a wearable body, an electrical generator element, and a heat generator element, each of which are coupled to the wearable body. The electrical generator element and the heat generator element are independently operable to output and communicate an electrical energy to muscles and pain receptors of the user and to output and communicate a heat flux to temperature receptors of the user. The distal surface of the wearable body comprises a material configured to direct the electrical energy and/or the heat flux to an area of the skin.

Abstract: Exemplary aspects of a treatment device are described, such as a body, a plurality of generator elements, and a housing. The body may contain a processing unit. The plurality of generator elements may be disposed within the body and be independently operable to output different energy types. The housing may be removably securable to the body. The housing may have a proximal end, a distal end, and a circumferential wall surrounding the plurality of generator elements when the housing is secured to the body, the distal end of the housing being positionable on skin about an area of the skin. The housing also may include an insulating material for permitting flows of the different energy types toward the area of skin and limiting flows of the different energy types outside the housing. Related apparatus, methods, and systems are described.

Abstract: Exemplary aspects of an energy transceiver system are described, such as a wearable body and an energy generator comprising a plurality of generator elements operable to output a plurality of different energy types in a signal direction toward a user when the wearable body is worn. Each generator element of the plurality of generator elements may be independently operable to output one energy type of the plurality of different energy types in the signal direction. A biocompatible adhesive may attach the wearable body to the skin. A controller may cause the plurality of energy generator elements to output an energy signal in the signal direction with one or more energy types of the different energy types. The adhesive may maintain a position of the wearable body relative to the user and an orientation of the signal direction relative to the living tissues(s). Related apparatus, methods, and systems are described.
