Abstract: A vehicle device monitors a physical condition of a driver, executes an awakening operation when detecting abnormal physical condition of the driver, determines whether the abnormal physical condition of the driver is resolved by the awakening operation, executes an emergency autonomous travelling when the abnormal physical condition of the driver being determined to be not resolved, notifies the emergency autonomous travelling toward vehicle surrounding, executes a rescue request in travelling state toward the vehicle surrounding during the emergency autonomous travelling, searches for a facility capable of treating the abnormal physical condition of the driver and sets the facility as a destination, sets another facility as a destination when no facility capable of treating the abnormal physical condition of the driver being specified, and executes a rescue request after arrival toward the vehicle surrounding in response to the vehicle arriving at another facility.

User-input information about a driving operation of the vehicle; is received, and area or object information is checked to determine the area or the object as a monitoring target. The monitoring target is tracked. At least one additional hazard avoidance procedure for the monitoring target is set, and the at least one additional hazard avoidance procedure is performed in addition to the hazard avoidance procedure when the monitoring target approaches the vehicle.

Abstract: An automatic brake control apparatus controls a braking device of a vehicle to execute a brake operation at a brake operating timing. The automatic brake control apparatus includes a brain activity state acquirer unit configured to acquire an activity state of a brain of a driver of the vehicle; a change determiner unit configured to use the activity state of the brain of the driver acquired after the braking device has executed a brake operation at a brake operating timing to determine whether changing the brake operating timing is necessary or unnecessary; and a change controller configured to change the brake operating timing in response to that changing the brake operating timing is determined to be necessary.

Abstract: In a method for manufacturing a multilayer substrate for having a BGA-type component thereon, a conductive through hole for restricting a signal interference and a resist film are formed on the multilayer substrate, an occurrence of a fault caused by a residual of a resist in the conductive through hole is reduced. In the method for manufacturing the multilayer substrate for having the BGA-type component thereon, a step of forming the resist film includes an applying step of applying a photosensitive resist to an entirety of a front surface portion of a base. The applying step is performed while restricting the resist from entering the conductive through hole by supplying a high pressure air to a rear surface of the base to pass through the conductive through hole using an air supply mechanism.

Abstract: An onboard system equipped to a vehicle includes a vehicle control device controlling a switching of a driving mode of the vehicle between a manual driving and a self-driving, and a brain activity sensor capable of detecting an activated portion of a brain of a driver of the vehicle. The vehicle control device determines whether a degree of uneasiness felt by the driver exceeds a threshold or not based on a detection result detected by the brain activity sensor before the switching of the driving mode. When determining that the degree of uneasiness felt by the driver does not exceed the threshold, the vehicle control device switches the driving mode. When determining that the degree of uneasiness felt by the driver exceeds the threshold, the vehicle control device performs a vehicle control corresponding to the degree of uneasiness felt by the driver.

Abstract: A pedestrian safety system includes a power transmission unit provided to a vehicle and transmitting an electric power, a power reception unit provided to a wearable member being wearable by a pedestrian and receiving the electric power transmitted from the power transmission unit, a power storage unit provided to the wearable member and storing the electric power received by the power reception unit, and at least one light emitting unit provided to the wearable member. The at least one light emitting unit performs a flash or illumination operation with a supply of the electric power stored in the power storage unit as an operational power. With this pedestrian safety system, pedestrian's safety can be properly ensured without disposing an operational power source of the light emitting unit on the pedestrian side.

Abstract: A data processing device includes a digital data processing unit and a control unit. The digital data processing unit includes a computing unit that computes digital data and a power source management unit that transceives commands with the computing unit and manages a power supply to the computing unit. The control unit controls a user interface unit that provides a user interface function. The control unit diagnoses an operation of the digital data processing unit by monitoring a transfer state of the commands between the computing unit and the power source management unit. When determining an abnormality occurrence in the operation of the digital data processing unit, the control unit resets all parts of the digital data processing unit or a part of the digital data processing unit without interrupting an operation of the user interface unit.
